Between hours spent touring Oahu, Hawaii with Test Drive Unlimited and tournament qualifying attempts with PGR3, I know full well that DIRT and FORZA 2 will eat up any time I have left... in fact, I am certain Dirt & Forza will get the lion's share of my attention. Am I complaining? HELL NO!!! Bring 'em on!
Forza was so superior to GT that Polyphony should have been embarrassed by GT4's lack of features, damage modeling, low sound quality and poor physics.
I absolutely LOVED the GT series until I played Forza. Forza included all the features that should have been included in GT3, or at the very least, GT4.
Forza 2? OH YEAH!
The 360's upcoming Forza 2 will sell systems. The game will be that good. And yes, there is nothing like it on the PS3 or will be, until GT5 is released.
The truth is that it's Polyphony that has to try to reach the high-bar that Forza 2 will set. Forza 2 will set the new standard for racing sims, as did Forza for the preceding generation.

The continued drop in sales of the PS3 in its homeland Japan is telling. A lot could be said about how the PS3 is fairing elswhere as well.
It's definitely not going as Sony had hoped and predicted. A strong release cycle that brings 'must have' games to the market will help, but how much attention --- and loyalty -- has been lost and given eslwhere? Nintendo is certainly happy. Microsoft too.

The 360 remained difficult to find well into May of last year. So yes, the 360 was in a similar position as the Wii in regards to demand.

I've got over 18,000 miles logged with Test Drive Unlimited. Three-thousand miles plus with my Shelby Daytona Coupe and my Agusta Tamborini individually. I'll add the Lexus cars to my list and give them all some airing out driving the roads of Oahu, Hawaii.
Test Drive Unlimited is not a good game, it's a great one! It's a blast cruising the island's 1000 miles of roads with friends.
There is a reason that nearly half a million Halo 2 matches are played daily by an average of 250,000 unique players (see Bungie STATS: http://www.bungie.net/stats... ).
The reason is that Halo 2 multiplayer is incredibly fun. Halo's maps are among the best ever designed for FPS multiplayer gaming. They allow --- invite --- many different strategies and approaches regardless of gaming skill.

Halo and Halo2 combined equal a lot of things done right. Nothing beats the sheer genius of Halo 2 multiplayer. Nothing even come close.
The original Forza was a better game than GT4. It played better, had better physics, better game modes ---- AND --- damage modeling. Oh, and it was a blast to play on LIVE.
Forza 2 is raising the bar in a big way. This is good for all gamers as it will force Polyphony to push even harder on GT5.
Customization? Online Auction House? DAMN! These two features added to the extreme physics and damage modeling of Forza 2 will make this the triple-A racer to beat.
dude, in 6-8 years it will be all about digital downloads (such as already offered by Xbox Live Marketplace). Physical media's use in the marketplace is already shrinking. CD sales are down 30% from last year.
I watch lots of HD movies simply by downloading and streaming on Marketplace. I don' NEED to own every movie I want to watch. Blu-ray and HD-dvd will both be obsolete before they even have a chance to catch on.
Go Zune! As posted above, I stated that I bought a Zune for my wife for Christmas... I have a Creative Zen for myself. The Zune is better all around, interface, software, etc. - I'm already planning on getting a Zune 2 as soon as they are available.
I like my Creative, but after experiencing the Zune it's no contest.

Dude, there is plenty of space on DVD9 discs for content. Oblivion for example, is huge!
Then there is Test Drive Unlimited, which, if it ever comes to the PS3, you will find out how big a game can be. TDU on the 360 has over 1000 miles of roads to race, cruise or just plain old explore. PLUS - you can drive anywhere off road. The game is HUGE! --- and DETAILED.
DVD9 = plenty of space.
I've been waiting for this one. Geometry Wars influenced Boom Boom Rocket should be stellar (no pun intended!). Bizarre has been working on this since the release of Geomtry Wars Evolved. Expect chaotic GOODNESS!
