Come on guys. Let's compare the two games when SCC has jungles, war-torn cities, and snowy mountains. Until then, just wanted to say the snowy level in UC2 is eye-pr0n. Those snow particle effects and how Drake interacts with the environmental snow are amazing.
bing cash back is cool, and i like their video thumbnail preview thing...
sorry to say though, i still use google for the majority of my searches. Google + thumbnail search previews
that cars in GT5 always look better than reality because they will always appear like models in a photoshoot. See a girl up close in person and she's alright, but see the same person in a photoshoot and she's a stunner. I mean, the only other time I've seen a car that looks beautiful and right there along GT5 is a car in a showroom at a dealership. You know? The cars that have been cleaned meticulously. Otherwise, even Ferraris in broad daylight out on the streets don't look as good a...
The gaming community seems to forget that GT5 has WRC, nascar, and weather/night time racing. I wonder if reviews will forget that too. Btw, I just saw pictures of the Citroen by GT car in night time at the beyond3d forums. Looks pretty good.

not sure if they're real but hey, looks good.
but almost every Forza 3 review has a mention of GT5. Flamebait reviews ? It's strange how reviews don't really follow a strict guideline. They're either reviewing the game based on previous iterations, or basing the score off competing products.
the sad thing is, most of those "GT5" shots aren't even from GT5. Some are before even GT5p. That interior shot rings a bell. Actually, I think only 1 of those pictures is actually part of the GT5 released pictures we've been seeing lately, while the rest of the "GT5" pictures are a mixture of GT5p and before/promo shots.
Correction: The first picture's GT5 ferrari and the lambo are from GT5. The rest are just GT5p, and the interior R8 isn't even from ...
I don't see why eagle isn't allowed to say anything about the other company. He did mention Sony and Nintendo. He's on topic. I mean, it's becoming commonplace to jump into an N4G article and see talk about S&M. *big grin* ;-)
I've come to realized after looking at
http://www.gameswire.net/co...
that these comparisons are pointless. One thing for certain is the cars in GT5p are more detailed and have better aa. Another thing for certain is the lighting is better. But isn't it funny that the background co...
Forza 3 looks "just as good" as GT5p ? Nah. You kidding me? That's like saying Vince Vaughn looks just as good as Brad Pitt.
You know what looks just as good however? Quantum Theory & Gears. "Just as good" is a better statement for those two.
And yes, like someone above said, the only reason why people use the word "demo" for GT5p is because that's what the "other" people have been calling it while ridiculin...
Microsoft can easily sell the Natal as a new console. Just market it as:
Microsoft Xbox Natal starting at $249.99
-comes equipped with 250gb hd
-headset
-1 yr Live Gold membership
-Natal camera
-100% backwards compatible with Xbox 360 games
so technically it's the same console, but just market it to seem like an entirely new console and throw in the words that it's 100% "backwards compatible" to 360 games, and it'll sell like...
^ "Since you claimed the 360 didn't sell well in Japan because its an American product, can I then claim that the PS3 is lagging behind in the US only because its not an american product? "
Funny you say that, because from time to time when browsing around in retail stores like BestBuy or Fry's, I occasionally bump into older folks that are purchasing a console for their kid or grandkid. It's difficult not to eavesdrop, especially in public when people just say their...
The japanese like dependable, reliable, respectful, innovative, and technological. Oh and they also like boobies. No. Like isn't strong enough the word. Love. That's better. Not dirty enough? Okay. Crave. They crave boobies. Still not dirty enough? They hunger for boobies.
silly, that was Star Ocean 4.
@ Murkerr, you fail to realize that Microsoft successfully got millions of people paying $42-50 a year to play games online, while also getting to enjoy using Twitter, Facebook, or Netflix only if they pay for Gold subscription. They also successfully managed to get these very same people to watch advertisements in their dashboard - because it's the only correct thing to do, give your customers more advertisements for things they paid for. They als...
Add in redo 3D engine from scratch. Redo cars from scratch. Redo tracks from scratch. Redo physics engine.
Add in detailed 3D car interiors. Add in online play. Add in damage. Add in weather.
Add in Nascar (which shouldn't be too difficult to include every team's cars since the 3D model probably looks the same for every single one of them).
Add in WRC.
And you wonder why it's taking PD this long to create GT5.
All other...
There's no doubt GT5 looks astonishing. People who say Forza 3 looks on par or better are really deluding themselves. Those website pictures of the cars and interiors have much more detail than they actually do in the demo. Anyone who's honest with themselves and have a fair share of love for both consoles will know immediately that the attention to detail in the exterior and interiors in Forza 3's demo is lacking compared to the game PD is bringing out. One thing that is for sure though,...
@ 1.8 I'm curious if Che was telling the truth when he said PD devs came by and took notes on F3. Reason I say this is because he was the original source and the media ran with it.
you should call up E! or MTV and tell them you want a reality tv show featuring you beating down on Michael Pachter.
You guys think that with the recent announcement from developers that they were utilizing MS contract money to subsidize PS3 development costs might have to do with the decline in 360 sales in Japan? Thinking about it, if I were Japanese and read about that on the newspaper, I'd have second thoughts in purchasing a 360 thinking my game of choice might end up on the PS3 with much more. I mean, the 360 was sitting pretty well selling around 7000-9000 units / week and now it's duking it out w...
You know they have a bunch of college prep exam and educational memorization titles for the DS... kinda like brainAge but more for schooling and less for casual IQ/mental exercise/gaming.
^ lol the top down makes me think of pixel junk racers
