I don't know about you guys, but I think out of all these Natal vids, I've never seen one segment where a person playing it actually broke all the tiles with one single ball.
It's like there's always a moment when all those balls get released rushing at the player, and the player is forced to react frantically. Ultimately it seems like the player's body is enough to reflect those balls to break the tiles winning the level.
I didn't see the vid yet but I was confused how Ina Fried was tied to the article. Looked at the provided wiki, googled for a picture... and low and behold s/he absolutely reminded me of a Meg.

I guess that takes care of halloween for Ian. I mean Ina. I mean Meg.
at the start of this gen, I recall Capcom was rebranded as Crapcom by the Jostiq & Gamersyde crowd. I'm not particularly sure if they've been redeemed back to Capcom.
Imagine that... if DVD wasn't used, we'd all probably be having bigger better games and none of this DLC (or the ones that's on the disc) to get the ultimate experience carp. None of this paying x amount of points for a digital file I can't use to boost the resale value of my games. That's money I can't get ...
do you have your fingers crossed?
Sucker Punch is first party? Really? No way! /s
Oh and Kojima has skills. It's Kojima-team that doesn't.
I think a lot of people that went to gamefaqs a few days ago were spoiled already. I was one of them.
As for that idiot spoiler troll... he should be lynched
The PS controller is fine for rpgs and traditional button mashing games. The 360 controller is fine for FPS and driving games.
I'm not a fan of the PS controller when it comes to driving or FPS. It just doesn't feel right and the angle of the left stick is diagonal to the axis of the thumb. It's just awkward. And I'm not a fan of the 360 controller when I'm playing fighters or mashers like Dante's, DMC, or Bayonetta. The buttons are just too spongy and the d-pad not accura...
it strikes me odd. You would think a bigger site like gamersyde would have the first 10 minutes gameplay video up before this smaller site. May be it's really a pirated version running around loose on the net.
Atlus is my true hero when it comes to bringing us some interesting JRPGs.
Edit: After looking at the hero creating editor from the link above, and the thought of saving the kingdom as a dog ... the game may very well be a sleeper hit.
she needs to release another *** tape. At least one with better view.
There are a 'bunch' of hostess clubs (like in Yakuza) here in the US. You just gotta do some googling and look around for the type of 'services' you're hoping to get. Heck, there's at least two of em no more than 5 miles from where I live. Taking that into consideration, I think it'd be silly if they removed 'hostess clubs' from the final game.
I think the Natal will sell more. I also think a lot of people will be piss angry if they got the Arc home and found out they also need to go grab the PSeye - unless of course Sony bundles it.
I expect them both to fail though. The Wii has been available for quite some time and by now you people should already know its controls are suitable for a niche market. Perfect for party games. Trying to replicate Wii-like control schemes to grab the casual market will prove difficult ...
I think it's been said many times before that oblivion (and fallout 3 for that matter) is just a vast world with recycled textures and trees. I remember Morrowind was really huge too. I feel it's bigger than Oblivion but practically >70% of its dungeons were using the same floor plans and textures were rehashed everywhere. You ever try that mod in Oblivion that turns the whole map into a desert with tombs etc? The size of that mod isn't that big at all. Also, oblivion was never reall...
heh a patch already? Why don't they ever patch these games up before going gold? Do they not hire game testers anymore?
I'm inclined to say those are the most amazing graphics i've seen this year, but I need more than just a couple seconds of tap X button to believe it's really running on the system. It's just odd that it's like the only button popup to appear despite the other scenes that were available. The vid and graphics looked so crisp but that one x button QTE segment looked so tacky. You would think there'd be another button pop up some where when the part of the video the player has to grab onto t...
That's interesting. From my understanding however, companies purchase the license to use the unreal engine so they're free to do whatevers with it no?
shoulda done some research before talking about vc-1 and games.
If MS took out the cost for extra discs, then devs would probably build larger games without having to resort to turning the content that couldn't fit into DLC. At the same time, this would mean more discs to one game and may give the PS3 an advantage ... or rather prove a point that blu-ray was indeed a better medium.
I could see that the extra costs for additional discs [and limited storage] is really holding developers back. Makes me wonder just how much more costly it is ...
she sounded like a chicken towards the end.
"the lag from the cellphone they used to record"
this doesn't make any sense at all. really? So a cell phone video recording will purposefully record the lag of a screen but no lag of the player moving? I wasn't aware video recording devices could be so discriminating.
