That's odd. The ending for AC2 made it seem like it would be Desmond's turn next to do the assassin skills he acquired thru animus. Afterall, after you uncover the secret and view the ending, it seemed like Ezio's journey was at an end.

We get to see that journalists are not very good drivers. I would not trust to sit in a bus or taxi driven by one.

looks like a website is in need for hits! Maybe you'll get better luck with God of War 3 for free as keywords on your google adwords account.

F U to digital game downloads. I want to be able to sell my used games.

I only cringe at the thought of future college students that have to pay for digital text books with no assurance they can sell them back if the advent of e-readers take supremacy over paper in the near future.

The writer of the article seems very superficial, and sounds like a person that has driven an Accord for many years, takes a Camry for a test drive on the lot for about 10 minutes, and immediately says it isn't appealing.

Coraline and Avatar in 3D was difficult to sit through, though scenes were impressive, the overall movie appeared darker and lacked resolution. I would think that it'd be a swell experience playing a game (especially a racing one) in 3D because finally, we'd be able to experience a sense of depth. To be able to discern the distances between cars or get the sensation of knowing how far we are from braking distance to the corner may add a lot of sensible feedback and perhaps ultimately give u...

something tells me Kratos will kill all the gods in the game, and the epilogue will say the time of the gods have come to an end, hence they're no longer "around" in modern day.

probably not too bad, with a month's pay after taxes you can afford about 10 low end hdtvs and 1-2 high end ones. Most families I know nowadays have an hdtv or plan to fill up their bedrooms with one. Other people nowadays are more inclined to "donate" or throw away their hdtvs in favor of upgrading. It's not like back in the day where people bought one huge CRT and never thought of getting another tv after that PITA move thru the front doors.

Nowadays, it's black fr...

well it's a feature that GT won't have, but at the same time you have to think about how car collectors are, and generally their cars don't have much in terms of vinyls and decals. You can google a bunch of pics of car collectors out there and their garages, and what you see in them are pristine looking cars - how they would've looked out of the dealership.

^ I suppose that's why some people like making sleepers (is that what they still call it?) while others like ricing out.

Well even though the article has a lot of good points and true for that matter, you have to think about it as a whole. Sony, though having been the king in the portable audio department long ago, was a great pioneer of portable CD music. When the digital age came where minature harddrives were affordable, Apple took the risk and brought forth digital music. They took even greater risk having the iTunes store to ensure people would be inclined to purchase digital. At the time, Sony nor any...

The couple things I noticed were:

1) The glasses don't seem that special. Just normal 3D glasses I guess? Does this mean I don't need a "3D" tv since according to Sony, the PS3 can be firmware upgraded to show any game in 3D? I mean, it's just outputting a 3D enhanced image to the tv set. Isn't that what it only has to do? I'm assuming a 3D tv has the hardware to output 3D enhanced images of a tv show/movie (basically anything outside the realm of the PS3). And...

I guess you can't watch pr0n in a college library w/o other people watching along, or I guess you can no longer chat w/ someone "privately"

I'm thinking they should pack two transparent OLED screens. The outer screen w/ the lid open will display whatever color or opacity, while the inner screen displays the image. That way, people can actually work with the thing and get some privacy.

On the flip side, add a touch sensitive layer to the outer screen, so w...

there are actually more pictures of that girl, though I don't have them saved up. I saw them from googling the morrigan darkstalker cosplay and then looking at a cosplay site w/ TONS of the same cosplay featuring many different girls, finally stumbling upon a page with that exact girl. alas, that's the best/most popular pose of that particular cosplay girl.

25 gigs of data? That's easy with today's connection. On 4G tethering (haha i hope *cough Verizon cough*) that's nothing. Blu-ray burners are quite affordable too. They're much less than a few months to a year ago. And blanks are quite affordable considering the space you get per disc and the savings compared to getting the real game. $7-10 per disc vs ~$54-65 per game?

Saying it's foolish to talk about 3D gaming and 3D tvs because the majority of consumers don't have 3D capable sets is naive, considering that many moons ago people were saying HDMI or 720p wasn't needed because the majority didn't have HDTVs. Well look at us now. HDTVs everywhere.
720p everywhere. 1080p widely available. 120hz widely available. 240hz coming up just the corner. You really think 3D won't just pop up from behind your ass?
