A 78 is not AAA and therefore not worth playing. But I guess it doesn't go both ways for you guys.
Oh well, have fun with Too Human. Or Two Worlds. Or Bulletwitch. Vampire rain. Infinite undiscovery? Many flops to choose from.
I loved the Chow yun fat game but it was a mix of generic and overused special effects. Mortal Kombat vs DC is nothing special. Where's that Vin diesel game? I mean seriously Midway's games are so generic to the point where they patronize gamers, it's almost insulting. I mean EA was able to innovate with Mirror's Edge, Dead Space, Spore, Rockband, Crysis, Sims 3, Burnout Paradise. Activision has COD4, WOW, Starcraft, Guitar Hero. Ubisoft has Endwar, Hawx, Assassin's Creed, and that new Jade R...
Just like Banjo
On the lowest settings. For that why not spend those bucks on PS3 instead? Crytek is working on it anyway so it would be cheaper.
It speaks: The PS3 is expensive from wherever you look at it, whether you're a gamer or a developer. Devs are tired of hardware that isn't flexible and easy to develop for, and gamers have limited funds.
Cheerypie, you're such a hypocrite. Microsoft is a lot worse in terms of anti-consumer acts, they are the undisputed King of this kind of "shiat". Hell, Nintendo once was like that. If any gaming platform is actually Open, that's the PS3.
Why don't you go tell Microsoft to let Universal do whatever the f*** they want with their movies and put them on PS3? Oh that's right, because you are a hypocrite.
"What same crap with sony?"
Supporting HD-DVD just to prevent Blu-ray dominance, buying timed exclusives left and right, going through lengths just to make sony go out of business, like spending way too much money on DLC or paying the fees that developers had to pay Sony after Sony lost exclusivity rights for several franchises, getting into agreements with universal and BMG so they support Xbox 360 exclusively, etcetera etcetera etcetera.
Finally Sony is reacting. I'd love to see a pigeon crap on BMG's head, screwing your own partners is bullsh1t and BMG should get the stick of death. XD
Also, as far as columbia goes, it's good to finally see it act like it's Sony Pictures and not like it's everybody's pictures except Sony's. As long as Universal doesn't support the PSN there's no reason why Sony should support XBL (is there any anyway? It's better to keep your movies as system exclusives).

The storyline seems awesome, the graphics don't seem very detailed but the environments do. However, look at the crash in second 1:51, it looks so lame. Considering it's a cut-scene they could at least put some effort in the destructible environments. As far as gameplay, I'm not convinced, it looks like another Tales game except from Square. I'll wait for the reviews to see if it's worth a shot. I'll buy it on PS3 if it's good. If it never comes out on PS3 though I'll buy it as used just not ...
Hell, why not play Too Human, Two Worlds, Vampire Rain and Bulletwitch while you're at it?
"but that defeats the whole point, you might as well just use your pc instead. "
Uh, no. That's why there are keyboards for PS3. So that, you know... you don't have to get off your ass to your PC as you have to with Xbox 360. You know, in case you wanna watch some multimedia heavy websites on your living room instead of your sleeping room or do whatever pleases you.
BTW, this message was typed from my PS3. Anyway, back to R2.
Blu-ray > DVD9
I'm waiting for offers to kick in at my local store because they have some every first wednesday of the month to buy it, but a friend of mine that was waiting and overhyped for this game and ended up disappointed. I don't know his exact reasons, some are lame, he says he bought a game to play it not to make the levels himself. He also said the controls were horrible but I heard media molecule was patching that (though how could you get something so obvious that wrong).

So that's why they cut the price. Oh wait.
"go play lbp (which btw isnt a AAA game by any standards). "
You call everyone else kiddies and yet you use the "ITS AAA!!!" fanboy moniker.
That speaks volumes of your intelligence, hypocrite.
"A price cut doesn't necessarily mean the competition is becoming too strong. "
"it can also mean that the overall new live accounts aren't growing as strong anymore as in the beginning (saturation of the market) in that cause you drop the price to try and attract the remaining 360 users that dent have a gold account yet. "
If LIVE becomes free, then it means there is competition. For a price drop to happen, there would have to be very few use...
However, I doubt that the average number of accounts per console even reaches 2, let alone surpasses it. It's likely that most Ps3s out there are online.
And Microsoft makes a hefty dime out of it. If they stop charging for it, it means they definitely have competition and/or that it's really not worth it because you don't have to pay elsewhere to play online on a service that is just as good if not better. You only need intelligence to make that deduction, it's pretty simple really. But I guess you don't see much of it where the grass is "green".
I love that song, lol. Sold. However, microsoft has a lot of catch up to do against Singstar's dozens of titles.

Should be even lower due to that 5/10 it got yesterday.
