David Jaffe should take his opinion on the most overhyped game of this year and shove it. I think he is just saying that to gain credibility when he doesn't need it. He has already delivered many great games, so who cares anyway.

It's not switching discs, it's the fact that you can't make FFXIII an open world on multiple discs unless the world is small, fits on a single DVD9, and the multiple discs are simply used to store FMV like in the old PS1 days. However, that's very last gen.
I would love to see a 50 GB open world but since Square is greedier than Microsoft, quality will never see the light on this one.

-The Wii has Gamecube like capabilities. Basically, it can run at 480p@60fps what the gamecube did in 480i@30fps. It only focuses on a new control method while next-gen consoles focus on EVERYTHING ELSE. That's why its games suck for today's standards, not because it has another target demographic or crowd.

A game character with sh1tty dialogues is not really worth caring. People like Duke Nukem because it's a fun and hilarious game but it has a very sh1tty storyline. That's how serious you can take Gears of War from a character standpoint.
