By Bladestar's logic, Britney Spears music must be better than Mozart, Bach and Beethoven combined. Also, the opinion of Carson Daly and other self-appointed "music experts" is or should be more important for your purchasing decisions than your own opinion. And of course, those opinions are unquestionable facts of life.
Logic is useless when dealing with Bladestar. Don't waste your time with her.
"It's okay, I'll enjoy my hardcore Wii games while you enjoy your "hardcore" console shooters with regenerating health."
Hardcore games? Oh, you mean Animal Crossing and Wii play? And by shooters, do you mean Fable 2 and Grand Theft Auto 4? Or was that motorstorm and Little Big PLanet? Or is it God of War and Ninja Gaiden? Go slit your wrists in manhunt 2, because that's pretty much the only hardcore game you're gonna get on the Wii. Then again, that is not even...
at least our wallet won't suffer from our need to buy Wii titles as there aren't any must haves on it in 2009.
"Funny, then, that a huge portions of industry professionals read and subscribe to Edge. They aren't there to serve the typical gamer: i.e, all you kids here who are held in complete contempt by the industry itself. "
Huge? lol. Yeah, you must think developers make the bulk of the money for Edge even after their games get unfairly slammed. "Typical Video gamers" be damned, because after all, Edge is a magazine that could sustain itself if they wanted with on...
I remember well when you were trying to correct some guy that questioned the vality of a study regarding console preferences. You talked about how sample sizes don't need to be bigger than that and that the study is completely accurate. Afterwards, some guy who happened to know a lot about sampling actually came out with much wiser words and showed how you were talking out of your ass.
It doesn't have to be me, you act as if nobody can remember how you've lost arguments before...
Such question doesn't deserve an answer as simple as "Yes" or "No". For games that are relatively small, of course not. Take the Killzone demo, for example. That doesn't need much storage space. However, take games like GTA and such... they don't look as good because clearly, and as developers said before, the space they needed wasn't there and corners had to be cut.
I see morons here throwing around the concept of "lossless compression" as if they...
This game came out a long time ago, not just a year ago. The score reflects how much it has aged even after the graphical revamp. Why couldn't they add more content? More game modes or features or whatever? Square only wanted a quick cash-in, plain and simple. I'm not saying the game is bad, I'm saying that Square's only hope is quick cash-ins, they can't even offer something significantly better for a re-make as doing so would imply more investment and hit their bottomline. That's a lot like...
KH used to be a top notch quality series. It seems that Square is indeed turning into old EA =(
Jaspers are still lemons?
"What is awesome fun about it?"
The games? You shouldn't require much intelligence to answer that, but considering you're probably a fanboy or willingly ignorant, then I guess we shouldn't ask much from you. If you were being honest though, then I apologize.

Last Flop.
Then again, more like *latest* flop.
I look forward to your next flop, Square.

NOT AAA, FANBOYS
'Nuff said.
I don't care if it's AAA or not, I'm buying it. Sadly, you fanboys care, don't be hypocrites now.
So this article is bullsh1t. If you're a true gamer you're probably already in Home. If you're not a true gamer then chances are you could wait a little bit more.
Lost Planet which wasn't received with universal acclaim had an 8 figure marketing budget, i.e. 20 million dollars, aside of the 20 million dollars that the game cost to develop.
6 figures is at most 999,999, i.e. not even a million dollars. I will assume he meant 6 zeros, so maybe he meant 9,000,000 but even then that's little. Lost Planet got more than twice of that even when it wasn't as well received critically AND when it wasn't a first party game.
Sony isn'...
The hardware hampers its potential for music games. I doubt it's an ideal experience.
I actually like installations. They greatly enhance the experience. Even if it's seamless and there are little to no loading times, installing games improves the experience even more.

If Apple doesn't lead the way to develop games on the iPhone then the iPhone is doomed to failure as a gaming device. I own an iPhone and I love it for the most part, I actually have some games on it including Spore and The Force Unleashed; they're good but not Killer apps, and if there are no exclusive killer apps on the iPhone that push mobile gaming forward then it won't dethrone the DS or the PSP as true gaming devices.
When I go into Xbox fanboy mode, I buy only AAA titles for my Xbox 360. Sometimes I am a hypocrite and consider games with a score of 6 and above AAA as long as they are Xbox 360 exclusives. However, I don't buy multiplatform games that aren't AAA because only AAA games are worth playing; nevermind the fact that AAA is made up. I just sold my copy of Dead Space because the latest reviews came in and as it turns out it's not AAA. There are no AAA games on PS3 because by definition PS3 games ar...
Resistance 2 is definitely better than FIFA! Anyway if you include Resistance 2 and the fact that most hardcore PS3 owners have the 60GB model... well, let's say you can't play PErsona 3 and 4 on 360 while you can on PS3! Then again you should also add Ninja Gaiden 2 to the mix. But of course it's about personal preference.
Overall it was a great year for PS3 and 360 owners. No matter what console you had satisfied your personal preferences and it was good. Neither can be calle...
