That was a very ignorant comment right there. All we know is that it is being made by DigiGuys on an Engine that runs at 1080p@60fps and that it has an original storyline.
On the other hand, we know this game has high odds of being mediocre, like most of its developer's games. That's why this game is likely to be "retarded", not just because of how it "looks".
Is that why there are twice as many enemies on screen on Uncharted than on Gears? Is that why the animation and color gamut in uncharted is a lot wider than in Gears? Is that why Uncharted is longer, more realistic and has a better storyline?

I know Square Enix prices Final Fantasy in the very high league, like the equivalent of 90 bucks each, perhaps more now that the dollar is weak. I'm interested in knowing because if that's the case then WKC is definitely a success and that would mean more support for PS3 from Level 5. As long as this game sells a million or so worldwide by next year I think it's more than enough to get more support from them. Half a million would probably be enough for them to break even if prices are higher ...

It was that there was no narrative at all. It was pure action and intel documents. That SUCKED a lot. And that's why R2 got those "lame" scores. The gameplay is better, the guns are better, the graphics are better, the bosses are epic, the enemies, levels and landscapes are more varied and it has more color... but it was a lot shorter and it lacked cinematics.
Besides, the story was more immersive in the first one... this one, not so much. There were no emotional lin...
I am actually laughing at that comment. First of all, I can play 100% of PS2 and PS1 games on my PS3. Any PlayStation fan that was interested in having backwards compatibility could have informed themselves on time and bought one that had backwards compatibility if it was so important for them, like it is for me. Well, to be a 360 fanboy you basically put a number that is at least six times your IQ next to your name and you're all set.
I.E. you puy "360" next to it. That doesn't mean your IQ is actually a sixth of that number, that would make your IQ 60, which would be too high for you (or rather, the best you could hope for), but you get the idea (then again, you don't).
If you want just quickies like youtube, Hulu, any video on the net or browing the news, then PS3 is just fine. After all, it's an "entertainment system", not a "workstation".

But the damned thing didn't even detect my WiFi connection because it didn't even detect that I have a WiFi enabled laptop. Isn't Ubuntu supposed to be easy? Take in mind that this release came out like 18 months ago so maybe they fixed it in the latest one? Hope some of you linux gurus help. I wanna use Linux but I want the transition to be as seamless as possible, and I heard the new version of Ubuntu doesn't even require a partition. Any advice?
