Someone gotta pay for it, if Sony doesn't want to. It's either us consumers or the publishers. When looked at it that way I'm content with Sony's choice.
I think they (MS and Cryptic) used to have a deal as this was initially the Marvel MMO that got cancelled (and they turned it into Champions Online). And I'm guessing that ever since they were acquired by Atari, they (or Atari) are looking to go multiplatform. Which would seem like a logical step
lol i love this song
Can't make much about the screens, they're so small. Are these the original sizes?
How can it be in english if it has only been released in japan? Do you have any pics or anything? The demo was in japanese only so I remain a skeptic. In addition to that playasia reports that the game is in the japanese language (both Asia and Japan releases)
what type of game is it? from the trailer it looked like a rail shooter (like House Of the Dead'ish). Are my perception correct?
I think WoW's expansion the Wrath of the Lich King has borrowed a lot from Lotro. In terms of the quality of their quests. Lotro were the first to truly have like a true story integrated in to their quest and while the initial WoW had to some degree that as well they never really took it to the level of Lotro (until WotLK). Although in that sense Lotro could've borrowed those parts of WoW to begin with. Oh and I guess Lotro was the first to have the thing were if you do this one quest this vi...
I do wish for a game utilizing the Playstation Eye. It does kinda feel like it's just sitting there considering I don't play Burnout and haven't really had enough time to make levels in LBP. I did buy mesmerize which was fun for 2 minutes (was only 2 bucks or something)
I have used video chat with my friends though, that stuff works great.
i kinda liked it, the only thing was that the handling was quite different (and unrealistic) but once you got used to it, it was a lot of fun.
I was banging on Okami being PS2's "Serving A Creative Vision". But Shadow of the Colossus not a bad choice at all.
lmao I no longer have a game I truly want on the 360. Maybe Fable 2 but it's more like "it looks really interesting". I would probably like it though but since I've never touched the series I have no real attachement to it. Ninja Gaiden on the other hand is one of my favorite action games (actually it's only behind God Of War) and it has by far the most FLUID combat gameplay of all the action games (which was really the only thing it was truly great at). Okay not by far, DMC3 actual...
DS games have never truly interested me. Not sure, maybe it's because they're a bit too simplified and just doesn't have enough depth. I bought one a long time ago and sold it a few months later. I tried Final Fantasy 3 (new at the time) and Phoenix Wright. Both were good but nothing that could keep me interested (I forced myself through PW). Ninja Gaiden was pretty cool though, but even that got a bit too much of the same after a while.
Oh wait actually that Bleach fighting ga...
Funny thing about this article is that software sales, they only compared to the Wii. I guess they wanted to hide the fact that most publishers (EA, Activision among others) are making more money on the PS3 than the X360 which is in reality it's main competitor (at this price point anyway).
I think the list is fair in the sense that no one will ever agree 100%with any top 100 list. So if you shuffle that list you still get a bunch of disagrees. If you add and remove some games you'll still get disagrees.
I do hate Edge though, I don't think they have any credibility with me whatsoever. I mean they gave Gears Of War an 8/10. That game was awesome at the time and that coming from a someone who generally don't like Gears. While a game like Halo 3 they give a 10/10 an...
I think it would be dumb to make one a timed exclusive at this point. If they were gonna do it a timed exclusive then they shouldn't have announced it for 3 platforms. Cause we all know it's gonna ruin their sales.
If they're gonna release it early for one platform, then others are gonna get mad and boycott it or some might wait for the "better" version (the later one usually is). Plus it's gonna loose it's steam once it re-emerges on the other console. I think at th...
lol gotta agree, hiphopgamer has lost it. I all of a sudden feel dumb for watching his shows in the past.
8.5 is a good score. People get too hung up on these 10s that sites have lately been given away wayyy too much.
Hahahahah that was a nice stab and it was too funny not to laugh. Hahahahahahh love it.
There's a difference between "don't fix what isn't broken" and "if it's broken fix it". While I could to some degree understand RE5's decision to not have run n gun. I do NOT understand why they would do so when they're gonna drop enemies from all corners.
1up review said it best
"Forget Gears of War (or its sequel). Yes, that game has especially limber characters that can pivot and turn much more quickly than Chris Redfield ever will, but it's ...
IGN is cool, I personally prefer 1up though. Because they used to have the 1up show you had a sense of their writers' personalities and you could see who to trust and who not to.
I personally actually hate the smaller sites cause they just run around throwing out garbage as they see fit. Posting out some invalid rumors just to get some hits, or even worse putting out speculation as rumor. Kinda what HHG has been doing.
