I believe it's set to launch this year.
It's good, but the GC version is the better of the two.
Going back to the Cerny interview, they talk about the cross-gen stuff. It seems like all of the big games on the horizon will still be PS4 bound.
With this and the mid-gen stuff, I'm expecting a more measured transition to next gen.
Just speaking personally, unless games are completely locked to PS5 or the next Xbox, I'm going to ride this generation out for a while.
Especially for this game and at this stage in the generation. It serves zero purpose at this point.
I just wish they would agree on a cease fire for this nonsense already.
This is well written. I guess I've become numb to the screeching conspiracy and agenda cries overall. Personally, I've read a handful of reviews and simply decided to wait a few months for when this title goes on sale and gets more patches. Nothing unusual about that for me.
I especially appreciate the point about sending out review copies too soon. For me, 1st party games in particular should not release with a lot of bugs. I simply expect better. Sony should have...
It's almost like you read the article or something.
Even that's pushing it imo. I expect the inevitable "8k nature documentary" to be available through compressed streaming like Netflix or Amazon, but not much else.
As far as games goes, if we can semi-consistently get 4k 60, we should consider it a win. People need to temper expectations a bit.
It launched almost 5 years ago, and we've yet to see the doom theorized in this article, or as predicted by so many back then.
Not all publishers could do a sub like this. Also, it's not like EA Access set the world on fire.
Imo, EA Access is perfect for those of us who like sports games. Thanks to downloadable rosters, even having to wait 6 months for the new Madden and NHL titles is fine for my tastes. Because these annual sports games hold no v...
Yeah man, those numbers make zero sense now that we got Sony's official stats.
Revenue figures were off by like $100 million a quarter, and if you say market share is subs, not revenue, then the % would alternatively have to mean that XGP only has like 70k subs.
Think what you will about MS intentionally misleading shareholders with their "millions" talk, but only 70k subs? Come on...
Until we can compare official numbers ...
Lol. Seriously confused with this. The original 2014 trailer absolutely hinted at MP.
I always thought that the coop demo looked a whole lot better than the SP demo they showed. What made it feel out of place?
I personally think the terms of the arbitration clauses were fair enough, but there's always an argument to be made against them, I guess.
It was Riot who came out last year and promised a measurable culture change with "metrics." I'm not sure it was ever about hiring, but equal pay was a big point along with an apparently high number of dick jokes.
You can follow some of his matches on YouTube. Maybe link him to your channel so he could get some pointers from you?
Also, I didn't see your comments as discriminating.
I assumed you were just a kid desperately seeking attention from strangers on the internet by making really lame jokes. I'm guessing that is a defense mechanism you developed to compensate for your own disability.
Crazy, right?

Just generally, visual impairments have many degrees.
Also remember that Xbox controllers are easily used on PC, where there are many more accessible titles and applications for the visually impaired.
Some of the biggest categories for those with blidness include audio-based games as well as text adventure titles.
You're missing something. It'll be matching the UK PS+ price.
Until those choices offer a more complete and comparable experience to Steam, it is a bit more complicated.
Epic is apparently working on it, but it's the the fact that many gamers have been enjoying many of these features for years on Steam, but can't on these timed "exclusives," that has caused the biggest issues.
If Epic sticks to their plan, maybe most of these complaints will die down.

The most obvious counter to that line of thinking is just asking yourself: how can you fault them?
They are sitting on an absolute iconic group of IPs that I think they would be out of their mind not to continue to rely on. Any other company would kill to have their catalogue of IP, and they really do cover a lot of territory with those IPs.
You have the infamous Mario, Pokemon, and Zelda, the Donkey Kong, Kirby, Metroids, and also the Fire Emblems, Pikm...

Believe it or not, some of us weren't happy about that last gen either, although it wasn't nearly as prevalent as we see in recent years.
Your bigger point is the most disappointing and common response though. So I ask: Why should we be ok with anyone mirroring one of MSs greedy moves?
This was a funny read. The comments in here made it better, too.
Maybe, just maybe, some articles are meant to be entertaining and nothing more.
