In this day and age where everything is mutliplayer and co-op, more and more games are coming out as single player? Bioshock and Mass Effect for the 360, Uncharted for the PS3.
I was really pulling for M.E. to be a mmorpg type of game, oh well.
...Wierd.
Bubble to you!
best games? How about a dash of reality. I'm with fopums, I haven't played NFS since Hot Pursuit on the PC. The only game I like from EA is Burnout. If you call missing out on any of the sports games, then so be it. I go outside to play baseball and football, game consoles in my house are used for things you can not do in real life!
Your right Jack, that is a hugh slap, except that Blu-Ray still outsells HD-DUD 65% to 35%. So what if 100 people that own HD-DUD purchase 6 movies, the 2000 that own Blu-Ray still get a larger part of the pie. You know what, you don't know Jack!
The stand alone Sony players may be an issue, I can't confirm any of them have the minimum of 256meg of internal memory so it is quite possible their stand alone players will not make the update to 1.1, the PS3 however definatly has the memory so it will not be an issue.
@ Gspot:
Just because the 1.1 update wasn't included with the latest 2.00 firmware, doesn't mean it wont be coming out. Home was also supposed to be included with 2.00, well there are still a lo...
to spin the hype train, this game does deliver what it promised. I have been looking for the tearing and stuttering in the demo and have yet to experiance it. I even concentrated on the waterfall and saw no issues. Granted I have a fairly new JVC 56" HDTV so maybe it is a issue with older SDTV's.
The attention to detail in this game is amazing. The colors are not washed out like have been complained about, of course I have my PS3 set to full color and not limited...may...
I could swear I saw FirstknighT say something with no derogatory comments...be still my beating heart.
Will this be a system seller? Possibably
Will this sell more than Halo? I doubt it, there just isn't the following.
But after watching the videos, I wanted this game and told my wife this would make a great Christmas gift, after playing the demo, I told my wife to never mind, Mass Effect will make a great Christmas gift, I am picking this game up as soo...
Dude, you are everyones rock, where we get upset, you are there to bring us back to reality. It hurts me inside to see you like this and it is a bit on the scarry side. Please, I feel your pain, Sony will get this fixed. The PS3 is region free so this is probably just a simple glitch which they will fix with haste.
It was a tough read, but I almost made it to the end with out posting, however, I just can't sit quiet anymore.
Do you guys even pay attention to what you post. All this garbage! You 360 owners sit there all smug thinking you are smarter or better than the next guy because you purchased a Microsoft product and not a Sony product. How utterly lame! And to listen to the 360 crowd saying "well maybe if you purchased that game for the PS3 the EA sales would be better even ...
Yeah, I think the name was "Clueless"!
Just get it over already and buy a PS3 40gig. Don't worry, your friends (oh wait), your online buddies will be fine, hell, they probably already have a PS3.
Awww, haze won't be coming out on my 360...Fine, I didn't want it anyway...stupid PS3 game.
Call it what you will, and the rest of us PS3 owners, this looks to be a sweet game and one I will hopefully get along with uncharted and R&C.
we keep taking his bubbles away, but he just uses his other accts to add them back on. Oh well.
Nice one Neuro, here, have a bubble so you can continue.
Is it too hard for you to understand that when Sony first removed the rumble feature a lot of said it wasn't needed, but now that they are putting it back in, we realize that it is a feature that is nice to have?
If your going to throw stones, how about Microsofts decision not to include a hard drive with every 360 and you guys said, it wasn't necessary. Now you have people screaming that the 20gig is too small and the 120 is too expensive.
It sounds like a personal problem to me and should not be discussed on a gaming forum.
because we PS3 owners purchase a system with great potential, and were just using a feature Sony thought to include. Problem is these guys console of choice can't do what us PS3 owners take for granted. We should pitty them, not call them names. As PS3 owners, we are better than that, they are like little children screaming at the shadow of a tree limb in their window.
So turn the other cheek my friends, they are upset that the PS3 is already done more for f@h than all the o...
you don't like Sony because they put so much copy protection into their discs that you can not make illegal copies of their movies. Despite that blue is region free and you can purchase movies from any developer worldwide, you don't like blue because you can not get on your favorite torrent site and download any of the Blu-Ray movies.
Well doesn't that just suck to be you! But lets look at this another way, why do you think blue has so much support from all the studios? Hmmm...
The red side has one hardware manufacture for HD-DVD, Toshiba, and they have less than a handfull of studios backing that one player manufacture. Take into the fact that nearly all of the red movies use the more expensive dual layer disc while the blue side is fitting the majority of their movies on a single layer helping to reduce costs. And it shows, most red movies are still around the $30.00 mark, while the blue hits around the $25.00 mark. A small advantage sure, but every dollar help...
Picking up the Spiderman Trilogy on Blu-Ray and kind of stepped back from the display and noticed that blu-Ray has way more movies. I couldn't understand it. Everyone is saying that HD-DVD will win the war and Transformers and Shrek 3 will do this and do that, but yet the blue side has like 3 times the amount of movies. Then it came to me, the answer was so clear, the red side is full of fanboys who are trying to justify their purchase and whine about Sony and their format, yet Toshiba is ...
You seem to talk a lot, but I don't see a valid point coming out of you yet. What IS your point anyway? One review site gave Uncharted a 8.5...WOW, I am shaking in my boots! I feel pitty for you though, taking enjoyment for something so small, I guess the saying is true, "Simple minds, Simple Pleasures"!
Personaly, after actually playing the demo of Uncharted, it has some of the best AI I have seen come along in a long time. I think this game should and could be a...
