The PC version never had local co-op... I got the DLC the day it came out and the option simply wasn't there... nor was it there in the original release that I've had for months.
The headline is a little misleading to be honest, suggesting a feature that was present has been patched out. That simply isn't the case.
I'm not really sure what could be changed. Build quality is solid and there doesn't seem to be any major design oversights. And, although I'm sure this is an unpopular opinion, I like the design balance it strikes between being boxy/imposing yet sleek/understated.
At half price it isn't a bad deal for a nice little system that plays PS1/PSP and Vita games. It would have a bit more value though if Sony weren't dropping Youtube support.
I'm not really sure what they're is to argue about here. Lighter skin tones are considered more attractive (by many, including apparently, the developers), and aesthetic is a huge part of DOA from the girls to the cinematic spectacle angle they introduced for 5.
They didn't change her race as I understand it, but her skin tone to strike a balance between what they felt was realistic/aesthetically pleasing. It's similar to how they altered Hitomi's appeara...
Why the toggle? Is it particularly demanding to eliminate it? I can't see anyone opting to play with chromatic abberration after all. Who does that?
Hells no. Gotta get in on that moobs actions.
Here's what got me: Someone actually came up with a Cleavage Day?
Somewhere, in the dark, a modder stirs...
To be incredibly pedantic.
"Final Fantasy Type-0 is a HD port of the PSP game, Final Fantasy Agito XIII, which released in October of 2011"
It should be noted that the "Agito" name was simply a working title used for the Japanese version of Type-0 during development. It officially released in Japan under the title "Final Fantasy: Reishiki (Type Zero)". I actually own the Japanese original, so I should know :P
The...
I'd be over the moon to see low-level API's like Mantle/DX12 supported for a game like that. Heck, depending on the performance gains I might even buy a new monitor that supports a higher resolution than 1080.
When going retro, physical games are often easier to acquire for lower prices than many digital storefronts. Granted you don't save quite as much on the low-end of the price spectrum because pricing differences are smaller anyway, but it's a feature I wouldn't give up considering the price of a decent DVD reader/writer these days is chump change.
Cases with no place for internal disc drives? No thanks.
This was something I was thinking about today: Many physical releases for the PC aren't really physical. You get a disc with little more than a CD key on it that launches a Steam download (don't even get me started on how silly that is! What a waste of a disc!).
Put another way, even many of the few "physical" copies we see in stores are actually digital releases.
Especially women.
BF4 runs at 60 on the PS4...
Ah. I clicked but the title misled me to be honest. I thought this would be about the representation of gaming within mainstream culture, and then asking "hasn't gaming made it into mainstream consciousness?".
Turns out it was a totally different article.
TBF Arkham Knight is out just around the corner. Maybe that's why people don't mind the timing of this remaster.
The in-game benchmark must be a poor indicator of performance then as I was getting sub-60 at times on a 970/Phenom II X4 965 (1080/maxed). Though I suspected as much.
Ahaha. I guess everybody's tolerance for when enough is "too much" differs.
Game wide issue? Or for specific games? That could help narrow down troubleshooting a bit.
It never had it, which was why the mod (mentioned in the article) was created in the first place. What Capcom have done is removed the dormant code that allowed the feature to be activated via mod, but it was never an out-of-the-box feature.
Hmm. I wonder. Did Capcom officially patch local co-op support in to the GFWL version after the modders introduced it?
