Did I miss something or was Bioshock confirmed to only be a 360/PC release. They have it listed in the related content on this page as a PS3 release...something change or still more wishful thinking???
World of Warcraft, Crysis, UT3 (preferred format)....just to name a couple of the larger titles. Not dying anytime soon....despite the joystick jockies wishes. As long as PC's exist...pc gaming will exist.
I guess it is better to have a dwindling lead than an increasing deficit such as the PS3/PSP.
Right now Wii is the cheapest of the newer consoles...that is why it is selling. While the controller may peak the kids interest, the parents pay for the thing.
So....in your own words Halo sucks, BUT you admittedly say that you never played the game before...laughable, and everything I have come to expect from most of the comments on this site.
I suppose it would be a much better game at 2160p, 2vs2, and 10frames a second because graphics are everything.
then every studio should offer on both formats...let the consumer decide which format they wish to go with when the cheaper dedicated players come out this Xmas. The only reason Blu-ray leads media sales is because of the lack of PS3 games at launch and the tentative exclusivity that some studios have followed. If Blu-ray is superior then what do they have to fear...put the media out in both formats (or dual disc) and let the consumer decide.
but that does bring up a good point and could cause a lot of once exclusive game developers to go multi-format to stave off lack of income until Sony got things straightened out...IF something were to happen.
REMOVE the HOME tab. Keep all news in it's respective tabs. Microsoft supports stay in their tab (360) and Sony supports stay in theirs (PS3 etc)...as goes for the rest.
Allow people to be reduced to zero bubbles and thus silenced from posting. Maybe that might make people a little more mindful of the comments that they make.
BS filter is a thought but why not put rumors in a rumors tab...or better yet...DON'T post the BS articles in the first place...then maybe ...
So that is all the Sony cheerleaders got??? Comments about the Xbox360 which is totally unrelated to this news other than their only pathetic attempt at a bash. LOL. You guys better start your petition now threatening to boycott any store that uses this Microsoft piece of technology because we all know how it would kill you to buy your Sony equipment through this new tech. Get a good look...you're going to see this EVERYWHERE...well...except in your little make believe HOME world.
...
don't make the assumption that Sony created this technology...they are just engineering it to meet their needs. OLED is already used for the displays of most of your newer cell phones. They are still trying to get the tech usable for desktop displays and TVs...the problem lies with the organic polymers lifespan for the higher frequency colors (blue). Once they get those to acceptable levels we will see the display market take off. Sony will not be the only company putting tech like this out o...
Why do you think Sony pushed their system out so soon without any amount of decent games? Because they knew that with the absence of games hardcore buyers would have no other choice than to buy blu-ray movies if they wished to make use of their new purchase...and thus creating the initial surge to keep studios in their pocket. It would be interesting to see how this race would be going right now if all the studios supported both formats. Just give it a bit when PS3 games start to make it to m...
Nice language (despite the strategic censoring). If that is the level of intellect you are going to show with your responses then I suggest you start flushing TWICE there Mr. toilet.
Phil Harrison was quoted "we HOPE to keep this service free". Meaning that if the advertising does not pan out this will NOT be a free service. OR...they will hide the cost within micro transactions of items that might have been originally intended to be free. I am sure Sony will do their best to subliminally charge for this service while coming off as the white knight of free online. Bottom line...if you are being charged for ANYTHING online from them (movie rentals and/or avatar e...
no other comment needed.
because if it didn't his kids would have kept playing until they noticed the flames from the excessive heat of the PS3 setting their house on fire.
I feel more sorry for the little guy...he (like most PS3 owners) had to pretend he was playing a game while watching is brother play games on his 360.
where he uses the exact words..."we HOPE to keep this service free". Alot of keeping Home free is going to fall on advertising and whether or not there is enough of it to keep the service free WITHOUT destoying the landscape. PSN is NOT Home so best to be keeping the free comments to yourselves until it is fact. Sony also has the ability to charge you more for other things to offset this cost so they still look like a shining knight while you do pay for the network a little bit at a...
Funny how no one included any pictures in this supposed article. I mean we all know who everyone loves to take pictures for these things.
like some of the PS2 replacements that Sony has counted?
one of them Sony worshipers spilled some goats blood on it before trying to start it up.
More of the usual corporate stone throwing in the form of a blog site, if it makes you feel better about yourselves then whatever.
was to remind me that I will have to wait until NOV. for next version of UT. =(
Next version of folding at home.
