If MS was smart they would start getting these MMOs on Live and not require the GOLD members to pay extra. Imagine having multiple MMOs at your disposal with only the one fee for LIVE. If MS provided the server space then the cost would in theory be minimal for the developer and game updates could be offered through marketplace.
which by the way kicks all their arses...even in Beta form.
You really should try the Beta out...can't wait for November.
The challenges are evil...just like achievements for weapons. They will have you using every weapon in the game just so that you can max them all out. The maps are great...can't wait to see what the rest of them look like.
Can't remember...are they going to have usable vehicles in the full version? Either way...will be a must buy.
Well it appears that the cancer has reached his brain.
"As far as adding extra content, it’s not really an issue: we have all the content we need for the game fitting on a DVD as it is, and the game wouldn’t necessarily be better by just by adding “stuff” on the disk: the biggest limitation for us isn’t disk space, it’s squeezing every last drop of performance out of the processors on both consoles to make the game as cool as possible on the screen!"
Sounds to me like they got it all in there and anything else extra could...
I'd say the bubbles speak for themselves...
Everything I have read about Killzone 2 so far pretty much decribes Killzone 2 like a blonde bombshell...pretty as hell but dumber than a box of rocks.
Gameplay is where it is at...ignore that and you end up with some of the ratings we have seen lately.
Wii is going to clean everybodies clock this Xmas if they could just keep up with supply deficits. Sony can bundle everything and the kitchen sink and it still won't change the fact that it is over priced for the largest audience...casual gamers. Parents are NOT going to pay over $400 dollars on a game system for Xmas. Blah, Blah, "But look at what you get"...tired argument. Parents will want to go into the store and drop the least amount of money for a system. They don't give a dam...
I remember Lair being pretty too...we all know how that turned out. Best for EVERYONE to reserve their comments and trolling posts until the games are out and playable.
Speaking of which...the Call of Duty beta kicks ass. =)
Damn...I hope you like your steaks really well done...won't be able to pull them off the inferno fast enough. heh
MS would patch to include keyboard/mouse support through USB for the 360. I know there are PROs out there that are just as good on a controller but I prefer to go with what I am used to...keyboard/mouse all the way.
Proof positive that if you base a game souly on looks then you set yourself up for a major disappointment...best to save the AAA label until after a game is played.
Hey Quagmire...Isn't country supposed to have an "O" in it? NOPE...giggity giggity!
Sounds like some people in here have a case of the Mondays. =(
Just keep chanting to yourselves...the war is over...the war is over...
EDIT: LOL...this is some great comedy. Xbots this...and Xbox 360 that...is that really all you got? This is a thread about the format war...did you feel the need to change the subject because the news wasn't going your way? This is a pro HD-DVD article but somehow individuals think (albeit incorrectly) that they are going to chang...
Lowest priced hardware will win...make your arguments about studio support all you want.
Seems to be the last and final argument for the Blu-ray backers...oh yeah...well we got all the movies...lol. I got news for you...the average Joe doesn't know or give a damn about all your spec numbers, disk size, or any of that crap. They are going to come into a Wal-Mart this Xmas, check out a HD-DVD movie in action, and then go "Holy Crap, only $200 and it still plays my old DVD's too?...Give me one of those!"
The funny part is that you are still under the Sony sp...
Can't win if you don't play.
or more like...
you can't play if you don't win. heh
The newest High Def formats make up for less than 5 percent of the market...if that. Of that 5 percent we will say that 65% of that constitutes Blue-Ray (2 to 1). So do the math...tell me how exactly 65% of a mere 5% = Consumers??? Sorry...I don't feel that impulsive buyers and/or hardcore audiophiles should define the market for the rest of us. The largest portion of the market wants the best technology for the cheapest price and if Paramount’s decision causes that competition then hooray fo...
video games must be the problem, because if it wasn't then our leaders would be to blame...can't have that.
Sad times...no one wants to take responsibility for their own actions anymore. Its pretty bad that there are actually people willing to trade in FREEDOM so that they don't have to go to the trouble to raise their own children.

He has 1 bubble and shouldn't even show up...which he doesn't for me.
He has NO voice if you don't give him one. People like him feed off of the negative feedback so don't provide him any. It is a cry for attention that he is not getting anywhere else in life.
Treat him like he not even there.
