Is anybody else seeing any kind of movement on their percentages? I have restarted after the big kick and my percentage hasn't changed squat.
This Demo download has probably got them scrambling there arsses off over there. "She's packin quite a whallop! We can't take much more of this!!!"...just goes to show the serious interest in this game. lol
Demo online!
Bungie knew what they were doing. Instead of blowing their entire wad at E3 they decided to save their best bits to gradually build up the anticipation all the way up to Sept. 25th...every couple of days we get a little more info...building up more steam until the release date.

You will have to register to their site...but it is free.
When they start the beta you will have to answer some trivia questions to qualify for a token that will give you access to the download on XBL.
This freakin game is going to rock!

LOL...yeah no bias there. Boo hoo everyone is copying off of Sony. Hey they got those acheiv....err I mean trophies up and operational yet in Sims world?
At least it is a permanent price drop and not while supplies last.
For one...Home is NOT part of PSN...they are two separate entities.
Secondly...Harrison never promised that Home would be a free service...he has been quoted many a time saying they "hope" to keep Home free. It will all depend on whether or not they get a successful advertising model to pay for it.
is the fan base. Anyone can make a decent attempt at copying the mechanism that is Halo multiplay, but the one problem with the rest is that they do not have the number of players that really make it work well. You apply some of the Halo type multiplayer filters to a base of only a couple thousand and you will be waiting good while to fill a room. Now with Halo, the user base is large enough to get you in game in a timely manner...even with the skill matching.
Always good for a bubble.
you can say it is all a rip off of Atari...or pong for that matter. No...my response was in reference to what Jin said and points out that EVERYBODY does copy to some extent...not just MS as he eluded to.
aliens invading Earth during WWII. What's wrong RFOM already loose your interest?
Isn't that a Second Life rip off or was it Sims? I do remember the word "Trophy" being thrown around by Sony...pretty much the same thing as ACHIEVEMENTS...don't you think?
A paper written by IBM touting performance for an IBM product. And I am sure if Intel wrote a paper they would have their own test results showing their processor on top.
So where is the independent test results? You know...by a company that has NO vested interest. Let's test ALL aspects of both chips and not just the good numbers that float up to the top.
it is the ability to turn off that damn "administering" voice... arrrrgggg. That would have to drive you nuts after a while. heh
If you lucky...maybe Killzone will be on the shelf by the time Halo 4 (or whatever next one will be) is out. I wonder when it will go from pre pre alpha to pre alpha. Most admit it is pretty, but it will be interesting to see what happens when they try to make it all work in realtime multiplay...won't be the same as RFOM.
UT3 timed...Haze...timed....The only exclusive titles in your PS3 list are both confirmed not to show until 2008.
Moore's comment was in reference to the only console where you can play ALL 3 games...I think everyone is aware that GTA4 and Madden are going to be released for PS3...but obviously Halo will not...so if you want to play all 3 of those games but can only afford one console then the 360 will be your only choice. I'm sorry he didn't have the time to create a finger pa...
Kinda like a guitarist, because they are so good at talking out of their asses it is almost like they are playing an instrument. This invisible "Analist" was soooo sure of himself yet we have no name or link to the original article.
The fact of the matter is that Sony was $250 in the red for every PS3 not too long ago and now they are giving a $100 price cut for existing 60gb models. Not even Sony is going to somehow miraculously shave off $350 of manufacturing costs ...
What was it rated....mmmm....was that a 7 out of 10?
I wonder if they are doing something on the backend to ether bring up more servers or maybe purposely suspending a portion of downloads to get the first batch finished and thus clear up some of the peak traffic.
