This lower price will get people to actually take a stab and HD. You argue about specs/support all you want but none of it matters one bit if people are not willing to move to the new hardware...and price is the remedy for that. But it’s not 1080p! The mass populace doesn't care...they want a decent picture for the best price. Still wonder if there would be some kind of reflective material they could use the watermark the cards. If they were then copied it would only reproduce the reflective color but not the actual reflective surface on the copy.

A majority of the US and I guess the rest of the free world don't have any idea about HD, and most of them are unwilling to even try it at the current prices. With a cheaper player you will finally get to a price point that will get people to take a chance on upgrading to HD tech which will finally get things moving.

I HAVE played it and the game is awesome...the only thing it really shares with the previous COD games is the control...that's about it. The level ranking and challenge system makes it addictive as hell. I really want to see the other maps, especially the ones where nightvision comes into play. Kick ass game...great for team play.
