I don't need the multiplats on WiiU. We've got them allready on two consoles and PC. What I want are taylored games for the WiiU.
Bring up a second Zombie U, or encourage smaller studios to develop uique couch coop games using the gamepad, Ubisoft. Be creative! Doesn't allways have to be the expensive AAA stuff.

Personally don't need no multiplats on my wiiu (at least if they are not enhanced by good use of the gamepad).

What I like to see are more exclusive/tailored games for the Wii U from third partys.
Make a second Zombie U, Ubisoft.
Or be bold and try something new and creative on the system.

Only a few percent could possibly run these resolutions. But there are even less people who own a 4K monitor. A proper setup is just too expensive in the moment. It's the future standard though. Give it 2-3 years.

I think the trend is going to more polishing before release. In my opinion, that is why a lot of games get delayed lately.

We had this habit of early and broken releases now for a long while. I assume their statistics will show by now that they lost a lot of trust and therefor loosing more and more money from people, who got burned. I am often holding back my purchases, waiting for a better product and a better price. That's also what alot of fellow gamers, I know persona...

Good article. Good game.

Not a big fan of conspiracy theories in general.
It's simply about cost-benefit calculation and profit imo.

Different architecture, different audience, different control scheme, second screen, polished 1st party games to be compared to ... Makes the multiplats costly.
(example: you may need PowerPC specialists and have to put in extra effort for using the gamepad)

That effort may start to pay off with a larger install base.

Mingling together all the moneymakers ... lol.
Could work, though. Looks like fast paced fun.

You played Zombie U?

Good, simple console with a fun and mostly exclusive lineup.
Let's just say it MAY sell better than some people expect.

I am happy for their ongoing effort to make it a better experience as well as postponing the next installment (Hardline). It's the only respectable way to go from that launch failure imo.

... you can expect most coregamers to run at 1080p or better. That's the kind of player you will encounter on gaming forums most frequently.

Just release games that are too good to resist.

I would love to hear an annoucement like this once in a while: "Hey fanbase! As you know we aimed for November, but the game is gold allready. We will release two month early instead."

Devs and Publishers need to learn timemanagement.

Declining from technical pioneer to massmarket ingratiation.
... and massmarket means competing with the big players.
Should have focused on development tools and hardcore games as showcase imo.
One can be very successfull in a market niche. That's what indies are often aiming for ... with good reason.

Absolutely! Gameplay is looking way too good. If they don't show me some really bad downgrade soon, I'll cancell my predorder.

@ Areswarlord

In a global market, it's about quality. That's why e.g. german companys are able to export so many products.

And it's about pricing. That's why e.g. chinese companys are able to export so many products.

It's not so much about the mere origin of products imo.

German ppl generally care more about quality than the origin of a product. And the PS4 is perceived as the best bang-for-the-buck console.

In addition XBoxOne raised major concerns as a possible surveillance tool in germany and as a black hole for data privacy.
Moreover: a lot of the entertainment-services that were in the beginning promoted as the core of XBoxOne are not available here.
