I wholeheartedly agree with your statement ...
only within the borders of my cultural and epochal influenced, subjective standpoint - which is in no way representative for my gourernment, my employer or any other group I was, am or will be connected to.
... you funny forum attendant/attendee.
... good luck and have fun.
FPS are not an autosell on PC. Look at Hardline. Playercount is abysmall.
Pricestructure is different as well and could get a problem marketingwise.
Then there is the whole optimization issue ...
That's just a few points, that come to mind.
You may add: sold in retail outlets.
... seems you get standard disagrees.
Well, we live in times where Microsoft acquired Minecraft ... just saying.
... stripped of the good stuff, like squads and communication.
On another note: I really was looking forward to Battlefront, but the more I see and hear of the gameplay, the more it dissapoints me what DICE made out of this great opportunity.
I guess, I am just not the target audience for this.
Indeed. It's with all good entertainment, be it books, movies or games ... you gotta trim the fat to make it great or it just gets bloated and boring (at least in parts).
For an interactive toilet ...

Sorry. But if you include Laptops and stuff the revenue for "PCs" exceeds 300 Billion world wide (by far).
The 21,5 Billion are gaming related hardware sales. That's why they compare it to consoles.
Looks interesting and like a perfect fit. Will check it out.
Edit: Has really nothing to do with gaming, though, other than the platform.
They just tried to lift too heavy. Let's hope they can recover and learn out of that experience. They made great games till now - even in Trine3 is their potential visible.

Well, don't come to close: flashbangs and shotgun for me :P
It'd be a pitty. Enjoyed the first and second part alot.
Huh? Isn't that the wrong way around? If anything the series is ruined by the developer. They acknowledged to have made mistakes in development and ran out of money. The game feels (allegedly) unfinished now.
Read the Steam comment section.
All the fans are sorry for their bad reviews, because they loved the series, but cannot honestly recommend the third part. There is nothing wrong with those assesments - and far from blind bashing.

WiiU is not getting multiplats, because it's just too much effort and too expensive to port due to the different architecture. Combined with the low user base it just makes economically no sense.
X86 would change that. That's exactly why Sony and Microsoft did it: it makes the life of devs much easier. It's all PCs now - basically.
And bad relationships don't count for much in business. If Nintendo would have a good i...
(1) Produce a x86 machine with enough horsepower for all the multiplats
(2) Add a lean OS with good online service and ...
(3) be awesomely smart and allow people to put SteamOS and/or Win10 parallel on it.
(4) Keep up the good work with the exclusives
>>> Basically put a PC in a sturdy box and slap a Nintendo-OS on it. They acutally could produce cheap enough for mass market appeal. I'd buy one. ;)
Integrating Eye-tracking really makes sense. Great product spec wise.
Question is: who will program for it?
The broad consumer market will level off at the lowest common denominator ... as allways.
