Where is that clickbait?
You mind to explain your reasoning?
Do you realize how much money EA makes out of this game? The worst estimates are around 200 Million Dollars profit. It would really have not hurt them to throw 2-3 more maps into the game and maybe a small campaign.
Well, I actually would pay those 100 bucks - even on a regular basis, if those games would just be worth that kind of money. But Battlefront feels to me like milking a franchise - instead of celebrating it.
I know enough people, who didn't buy into it - me included. It's just a typical EA ripoff. Not saying it's a bad game btw - just not woth the money they ask for.
If this is gonna be that huge of a commercial success? I have some doubts. At least it will not be as big as the ties are hoping for I guess. On the other hand it's hard not to make money with this licence.
Well, it confirms EAs image and hurts DICEs.
That may not be represented immediatly in hard $ figures, but it will hurt them in the long run.
They are still selling BF4 (+ Premium) for 50 bucks two years after release. I don't exspect a reasonable price for Battlefront anytime soon.
Exactly. The offering is just not worth the money they ask for (initially). And the lack of content will make the playerbase dwindle quickly.
I'll wait out till you get all DLC and the maingame for a reasonable price ... if there is enough people left playing at that time.
It's actually exactly average, if you rate between 1 and 10. Just sayin' ...
He implicates, that the comparison in size is inadequate due to the fact that those games play in "entirely different worlds" and so downplays a quality of Xenoblade. That's at least why I disagree.
It doesn't sound positive, like: Wow that's an "entirely" different and fantastic world - I am looking forward to explore it.
If they keep their quality standards they actually could evolve into one of the big players on the mobile market - espescially in asia.
I hope they suceed ... it would enable them to take more risks in other sectors, like core gaming.
Why don't you buy a PS4 or X1 for that instead?
You will gat a decently powerfull system with dood controllers and 3rd Party support.
I actually would prefer from Nintendo something innovative, that gives gaming a new spin ...
I actually hope they try something new. Sure it could be another fail, but I rather have something different than another multiplat console. We have PS4 and X1 allready - and they are doing a good job in being "traditional" consoles.
I actually was quite satisfied with the WiiU. Many people thought it would be good to drop the tablet controller, but I rather would've liked Nintendo to use it more often and in inovative ways. It makes the gaming experience just d...
The infantry weapons are actually pretty balanced; you really don't need to unlock much to be competitive.
On vehicles it's a diffrent thing. But the "grinding" doesn't take too long either.
With all the patches lately it's actually a really good game with a lot of content now. Best BF since BF2142 imo.
(I skipped BC2 though.)
Why? I wait for GOTY as well on all single player games. The witcher for example will be as good in a year then it is now - maybe even slightly better (no bugs, better performance and balance, all DLC, lower price). What do we loose?
I make exceptions only for my most anticipated games. Bought e.g. Pillars of Eternity day one full price to support the developer. But that's it for the last year.
Like elacardia said: Have fun.
Nintendos next gaming system. And nobody knows anything concrete.
But lets write as many speculation articles as we can before reveal.
I assume ppl disagreed with you, because they do not consider buying it for 110$ and neither for 80$.
No they don't. From their (upper management) perspective it's a smart business decision ...
That's why they only will change those practices, if ppl stop giving them (additional) money for the crap.
To be honest: I am a bit guilty myself. Bought the BF4 season pass a while ago. But I only paid around 30 bucks for it and for that money it feels quiet fair (20 maps, new gamemodes, a few new gadgets, weapons and stuff). All in all I paid 60€ for the deluxe ed...
What happend to:
"Lets release a good, wellrounded, polished game and lets see, if people love it as much as we do ..."
... and if ppl really love it and ask for more, you create an expansion, that is worth of that name. Good amount of content - half the price of the new game.
Ahhh ... the nostalgia: It was better (for the gamers) without the (paid) DLC crap and season pass bs.
... could also just mean, that it's badly programmed or that it requires a lot of multithreading, if they e.g. simulate a console and handheld(s) running in combination.
Don't get me wrong - I hope for some graphical power as well on the NX.
Indeed. It's a pitty. Was actually a pretty good coop game on PC.
