They really seem to put some effort into the PC version.
I am intruiged, but will be waiting for tests and community feedback before jumping on board. Maybe play some beta, if I find the time. After all it's the gameplay that matters most.

Rofl. Bubble up.
There was a huge hype train rolling before Destiny launched due to impressive marketing. They've set the bar pretty high and so were the expectations. It failed regarding to those ...
The author explains the/his specific issues with Destiny quite well in the article.
Are we really doing this shit now on every game? It's getting annoying.
I actually think they will go that direction as well. Just makes more sense. Unify everything under Win10, make the comfortable XBox-environment an option and sell a branded PC in a sleek design with standard specs (which means developers will still be able to better optimize on this specific tech and make the experience "easy" and bugfree).
Let's see ...
It's a "safer" business modell for them I guess. If gamers don't like the game initially, they can put more effort in the following episodes or half arse the rest of the episodes to safe money. Also more time to polish etc.
The advantages lie more on the developers side as usual.
But like one post suggested: let's see how it plays out. Can't blame them for experimenting with new business modells. (EA access is another recent example....
Destiny = RPG ... a bit of a stretch, isn't it? But good list nevertheless.
Looking very much forward to playing the Witcher 3, when released as goty. And I loved Pillars of Eternity and will replay it soon, when the white march expansion is complete.
No chance to play Xenoblade in the moment, since my wife is occupying the WiiU with silly plumbers, cute mushrooms and other bustling stuff. (Yeah ... I love those too.)
Maybe also a lot of positive surprise ... Who knows?
On the other hand the PC gamer market has a lot of enthusiasts, that are willing to shell out that money for a VR headset or upgrade there graphicscard to get ready.
Btw I think that all approaches, including those cheaper solutions for smart phones, are necessary to get that whole VR-industry really up and running. I even believe that the mobile market might be more crucial, since people often upgrade there phones or run after the latest hype. It will be cheap enough to give...
PC is the best place to play multiplats. And X1 and PS4 play them good enough as well. There is really no need for a third multiplat console.
Good Nintendo games and a new gaming experience (new kind of controlls or interactivity) is what I personally whish for.
That's why I jumped on the WiiU in the first place as a complement to my gaming rig.
There is still not enough exclusives (I am interested in) on either PS4 or X1 to justify me purchasing ...
I really don't get why people ask for antoher multiplat-console ...
I instead hope they make something new and different and dont go the traditional way with controller + TV set up. It's boring. PS4 got that, X1 got that, I can even hook up my PC on my TV the same way. Another console to play the same games just with slightly more power? Really?
I instead would love to see a different gaming environment, like a homeconsole-mobile-hybrid, which would allow to p...
Nice gesture of course, but gorgeous is an exaggeration.
Really nothing spectacular here to see ...
Well, it doesn't hurt to know and use the stuff you sell.
On the other hand: it's not uncommon in high ranked positions in politics and economy to have your roots in another field than you are working at.
A random example is the german minister of defense, which comes from a background in medicine and public health and was minister for labour and social affairs before. Not quite a weapons specialist ...
My coffee allways gets cold while gaming :\
Which of the consoles would keep it better warm, if I place a mug on top of it?
Who cares. Just make a good game, worthy of the franchise.
Edit: That actually applies to both, BF and COD.
I am actually pretty fond of BF4 in the state it is by now. It's a good title and working really well as a squad based teamplay game (if you have people to play with). Imo the best entry since BF2/BF2142.
I hope they keep up the good work and deliver a good title next year ... maybe something bold, which brings something new to the table.
But after Hardline and Battlefront I am a bit reserved ...
Well, I would. 2142 was the most balanced entry in the series imo. Perfect for talking teamplay.
Well done, Nintendo.
State of PC gaming? Better than ever, if you ask me. The diversity of games and the scale of customizability is ridiculous. I personally love it.
Consoles I own for couch coop mainly. Unfortunately it's not what it was some years ago ... yes, looking at you, Halo.
... read that as well.
I am really curious right now, what they will deliver. Hope they surprise us with a new concept.
