You meant PS3/Wii pawns 360, bubbles for you, nonetheless.

I'm pretty sure Sony cares more for N.A than the UK, considering it's the homebase for most Hollywood movies. It's Sony's turn to match MS in spades, with regards to digital downloads.

Sony's got the advantage when you factor in the harddrive in every PS3 but not every 360, and the fact they are 1 of 6 major movie studios, or 3 of 8 if you consider they own MGM and Columbia Tristar. The horizon looks bright for Sony with regards to blu-ray and digital downloads.

@1.9 Thenickel

Nice spin there nickel, considering GTA was also on the xbox1.

Thankfully, you don't have to pay everyone a nickel for every irrelevant fanboy comment you make, otherwise you'd have to think up a new username.

I want to play it just for the bear with the eyepatch, it just reminds me of the Ravemaster and One Piece anime.

@Cellfish

Yeah, JRPG's are so irrelevant! Forget the fact that Pokemon, DQ, Monster Hunter and FF literally destroy most WRPG's in sales other than WOW and Starcraft. The new pokemon game only sold a measly million units or so in Japan, buh humbug! That's obviously not enough sales to be relevant to you.

If you got time, maybe you could tell the people in Japan and other people in this forum to stop buying 360's and PS3's for JRPG's, it's clearly obsolete. <...

Foxgod, there's only a few people here at N4G that can take things wrong the way you do. Cayal is entitled to his opinion, just as you are. You really don't need to be a fox nipping at everyone's heel, when someone elses opinion conflicts with yours.

@commodore64

I don't see how you consider the 360 profitable when it lost 1.1 billion dollars to RROD warranty, and this is before factoring the cost to fix and refurbish 360's as well. The only reason some people think the 360 is actually in the black for profit, is because MS very sleekly, snuck that RROD cost into their 2007 fiscal budget, like sweeping dirt under the rug. You don't have to do any calculation to see that MS will never make enough profit on the 360 to make ...

@Mahr

Thanks for your comment Mahr. I'll do what I can to clarify what I mean by core. I don't find a game like Animal crossing to be core b/c I feel it's more similar to Sims in the way you can go about doing stuff without any defined objective. It's like Wii music compared to Rockband or Guitar heroes, in which the later 2 have a challenging point system, while the former has no real objective, other than to have the user create their own music. Wii fit I guess could be a...

The Wii is core for it's 1st party titles and more recent 3rd party titles like Madworld. It's just a more casual system, in order to be more accessible to the general public. In the end it doesn't matter, because they have the one point that counts, their the current favorite/king of current gen consoles.

The real answer depends on how you look at it. Reaching a million can be considered a success in a way, as it's the 1st American game system to do so in Japan. On the other hand, it took 4 years to do while being considerably far behind it's competition. It even lost in 2008 sales to the reigning champion of the last gen, the PS2. It's 2 sides of the same coin if you ask me, just like Two Face in the Dark Knight.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I somewhat agree with Michael Pachter. There were several older workers at my last job who only bought a Wii for Wii-fit, that's it.

However, I don't believe the Wii is a fad like most people do. It really is the next fast food machine that the PS2 was and still is. I don't see the Wii selling as much as the PS2, because I think the Wii 2 will be out well before that happens, but I don't see it fading, much like the PS2 is still a system ...

@MiniMario

I never implied that Nintendo have deviated far from their family roots, but I'd like some games that are less than casual. Let's be honest, if you could give a good list of core Wii games, you would have. If casual was all you were about, you wouldn't have a 360 nor a PS3 either.

I'm not trying to say core games are all I want, seeing as I have a DS with 1/3 of my games being less than core, but I still find Nintendo's core titles too few and seldom...

I'm not sure about this title, but I'm patiently waiting for that new Shin Megami Tensei exclusive for the PS3, I've got high expectations for it.

The PS2 is still the RPG king, and this is one of the reasons why it's still at the top in that area.

This game and Punchout are tempting me to get a Wii. I really want Yakuza 3 and this game called Sands of Destruction for the DS: http://www.gamespot.com/ds/...

That's exactly the problem a lot of people have with Nintendo, they have "staple" icons that change very little each successive generation. A lot of us grew up with Nintendo, including myself, but as is the case for some of us, someone of us grow up looking for something different, more mature with new IP's to catch our attention every now and then.

I don't even need to see the next generation of Nintendo to know there'll be a new Mario or Pokemon game, but what else...

Considering Animal Crossing is what Nintendo announced as their core game last year, I have to agree they're out of touch with core gamers these days. I expect they will have some core games I want like Punchout, Sin and punishment 2, with more core games from 3rd party companies, but I'm fine with what Sony has to offer until then.

@N4Garbage

Sony has more studios working for them, so you "can" literally can your fanboy comments. If numbers were all you cared about, than be content with all the mediocre 360 exclusive RPGs.

For someone who obviously thinks so little of N4G and the PS3, why don't you join kotaku.com, I'm sure you'll be welcomed with open arms there.

Yeah, I couldn't believe that they would go that far for the ending of R2.

Back on topic, I don't think anything from Insomniacs needs to be earth shattering, as long as it's something from Insomniacs, that's good enough for me.
