LP sold poorly on the PS3 compared to the 360 b/c it came a year late like Eternal Sonata and Bioshock, when PS3 owners such as myself were pre-occupied with other games to buy/play.
As I remember, Capcom mentioned they would be doing all games multi-platform from now on, so I think it's safe to assume the PS3 will get LP2, especially since a former 360 exclusive like Dead rising is making it's way to the PS3 for it's sequel.
If your going to focus on sales; it...
I though Bioware mentioned ME2 was coming early 2010? I could still see MS promoting ME2 like crazy at E3 though. Maybe if fans are lucky, MS will announce Alan Wake for the last quarter of this year.
It's nice to see another good game on the psp. Steambot Chronicles for the PS2 was pretty good.
This is a little off topic, but can anyone tell me if mech assault: for answers is any good? I wanted to try it, but I'm not sure if it's any good. Thanks to anyone who gives me feedback.
Nintendo isn't the one that needs to worry about the recent sales trend, MS should be the ones to be a bit on edge. With the rising sales of PS3's in Japan, it means 360 has less ability to get exclusive japanese made games, while the PS3 gets more exclusives like Katamari and Quantum Theory.
Nintendo will weather the current trend quite well when Monster Hunter and DQ10 hits Japan. Sony will do fine as well with FFXIII, but the same can't be said for 360 in Japan. It's goin...
MS is getting grief b/c they chose a last gen media that's easy to hack while being financially feasible to duplicate on DVD-RW's for dirt cheap. People talking about 360 sales have to realize two things, it sells more b/c the 360 has more consoles out, it's the fact that fanboys like to crow about. Secondly, sales of Wii games are higher than 360 games. If your going to go by sales for best game, than we'd all be stuck with Wii play and Wii Fit (-_-);;.
Quite frankly, I could care less what SE can/can't do, it was their choice to begin with. They're already paying dearly for their 360 exclusives and it'll continue to be the case until FFXIII and Versus are out on the PS3. SE should follow Namco-Bandai's lead and put their RPG's multi-platform.
I don't believe the PSP2 is set to arrive any more than the price cut for the PS3. Sony has denied both, b/c they're not ready for either.
As for Sony showing all the cards, that's only a half truth as a good portion of Sony's 20 studio's are working on titles we don't know anything about. No doubt there's a few 3rd party exclusives to be announced as well, like the Katamari and Quantum Theory.
I don't know about 360 exclusives, but there no doubt will be som...

I understand where your coming from, but we'll have to agree to disagree. A lot of people don't seem to realize that the total net asset behind Sony is roughly double that of MS. It makes perfect sense when you consider that Sony owns 3 of 8 major movie studios; MGM, Columbia Tristar, and Sony movies, all this before their BMG music division.
I just don't see Stringer pulling the plug on a future PS4 development b/c Sony has been using the Playstation...
The problem with your list is that a decent portion of the titles have been on the PS2. The other games though, are decent games found only on the Wii. Some more exclusives like Mad World and Punchout will go a long way, though.
I don't care for ipods or zunes. I'm quite happy with my Sansa fuze, it's got expandable memory via microSD cards, so my mp3 player is as big as the largest microSD card on top of it's built in memory.
GT5 prologue is somewhere between 1.5 - 2 million copies, not bad for a preview game.
I'll take whatever Tales game over LO or SO4 any given day, plus the PS3 is getting an exclusive Shin Megami Tensei game, that isn't even out and I already know it'll be "game of the year" quality like Persona 3 and 4.
I'm just happy I get a chance to play TOV. As a big Tales fan, Bandai Namco has ignored Sony as a whole for Tales games. There's tales games like Tales of Lament (PSP), Tales of Eternia (PSP) and Tales of Destiny (PS2), etc. that never made it over to North America. Well, at least my wish to play TOV has a decent chance of coming true, seeing as Eternal Sonata got a PS3 release that came to N.A.
My NDS has given me all the core Nintendo titles and better 3rd party titles than the Wii.
If anyone wanted the news, they could do it on a PC, the TV or using the internet on the PS3. I'm not sure about you, but most gamers aren't buying the Wii to watch the news. As for envy, most of that would be geared towards Wii sales, not better games for the Wii.
@Why o why
RROD isn't as major an issue now (my info comes from friends working at EB games i.e. the Canadian equivalent of Gamestop), it's made way for E74, which some believe is RROD in disguise. Regardless, you can't argue the fact that the 360 is the most faulty system in home console history.
@dcbronco
I know all about the several billion dollar loss from the PS3, but as I've said before, Sony have PS2 and PSP gains to negate some of those losses. If Sony losses money in one area, they make it back in others.
The recession is a major factor in sales of TV's, laptops, cellphones etc., for Sony. The same can't be said for MS, IE8 is just plain lossing ground to Google chrome and Firefox and Vista has been a miserable mess since day 1 (even my cousin w...
The Wii could never be my primary system, but it is the case for my 2 nieces. Different people, different taste, that's just how it is.
Well 360 man, the 360 may have some funds freed up for it's further development soon, seeing as the Zune divisions looks to join those other game studios that have been scrapped.
I mean MS is just wallowing in success right now with Internet explorer 8. Vista too, is doing so phenomenal well, that MS is now telling the 90+ percent of business that never bought it, they may need it for Windows 7 to function well.
If your going to do some lucid dreaming about MS h...
@solidsnakus
Exactly what 1st party titles have MS put out so far that is far better than titles put out by Sony? Halo is made by bungie, which is no longer a 1st party. That leaves titles like kameo, banjo kazooie, too human, perfect dark zero, viva pinata, PGR, shadowrun etc. Where in that list is a game so stellar that you can discount Sony titles like GOW, Warhawk, GT, Resistance, K2, Uncharted, etc.? About the only recent game that MS will be putting out that looks lik...
Wow, this article looks to see fanboys of all stripes, self-destruct in 3-2-1 seconds --> *KABOOM*.
Seriously though, every companies has their own pros and cons. It's not uncommon for any of the big three game companies to put in a cheap shot at their competition, every now and then. I seriously think these game companies hire people with it clearly stated in the contracts they sign, that they must diss the competition at least once while working in their service (-_-);...
