I just don't know about Anthem. It seems way too much like Destiny. I might be sold if it has a solid singleplayer experience - an I'm not talking about a 4hr singleplayer (tutorial) campaign either. I guess I'll try the VIP demo and see what I think of that.
Checkout the Steel Book they get in France - https://images-na.ssl-image...
Very interesting. I wonder if he will drop any hints of how development on next gen consoles is coming along ;)
I hope Cory is still directing God of War 2, I don't think anyone else can effectively carry on teh visino that he has started. Just give the man time to recouperate first.
Yeah I'm sure they've polished it up over the last few months, and added bonus extra modes etc. For example, I hope we get horde challenge and survival modes as well. It just looks so much fun to see how long you can survive against that horde - https://www.youtube.com/wat...
My favourite is RE7. :)
Yeah I don't do Steel Book Edition anymore. It's just a pointless added expense imo, and really doesn't add anything to the game.
What bothers me is when Publishers give you early unlock bonuses, I can't decide if it diminishes the experience or makes it better. I imagine a game like Days Gone where the focus is on survival, having early unlock bonuses that effectively makes the game easier seems disingenuous, especially when the devs are saying that they ...
Konami was the problem with MGS5.
TL;DR they didn't allow the game to be completed.
The open world worked well, the only real problem was that Konami pulled the plug on Kojima mid-production.
So there we have it, "the game is not fully complete yet." I still remian sceptical about a 2019 release. Maybe I just don't want to start getting my hopes up only for the to be dashed to the ground! :p
Too true. Imagine what Rockstar could do with the Star Wars franchise, or CDPR, Rocksteady. I'm sure Disney would have noticed the succes that Spiderman is having through the partnership between Marvel and Sony. They should strike these types of deals with developers instead of going with the faceless megacorp publishers that don't even care about the franchise.
Dear god NO! Please don't even think those thoughts, someone at Bethesda might hear you... the last thing we need right know is Star Wars 76, on an antiquated broken game engine.
Absolutely definately!
I agree that the developmet time for Death Stranding has moved quite quickly, and I think you're right that Kojima said he had most of the game worked out for quite sometime. However I'm minded that it's Sony that set release dates, and they have been very strategic when setting release dates for their exclusive titles.
I'm assuming that PS5 will be released holiday 2020, however I think in the lead up to that, and in order to keep PS4 sales afloat, they wi...
A plasma cutter would be an awesome addition.
Man... I miss dead Space.
Truth be told, if I were to focus on clearing my backlog, I wouldn't actually have time left to play new games. FFXV, Titanfall 2, Watchdogs 2, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Batman Arkham Knight, Divinity Original Sin... and the list goes on and on... all just sitting on my shelf waiting to be completed... 0.o
Sometimes I wonder if I'm just more of a games collector these days :D
10hrs each - that's a good length for me, I don't have the time or patience anymore for games that just go on forever.
Not sure if you're being serious or sarcastic!
"ancient stuff"... lol I guess you're a millenial huh?
I agree with this. There were too many times when I failed the mission because I wanted to flank. I would get the "You abandoned Dutch" or some such message and the mission would insta-fail. That's bad design in an open world game.
GOTY depends on what games release this year. Considering the different games that are releasing upto Days Gone release - it could still be a nominee for GOTY. Anyway we have to wait for the game to release first and try it for ourselves, since we still don't know much about the story or even the moment to moment gameplay. But I wouldn't write it off at all.
