Dude you're being disingenuous, it's not that the media say that they just don't like a Sony exclusive. If they did then they would at least be honest about their motivations. However, the media has said that this game is going to flop because there's too many open world games. But then they're all excited for Anthem, Metro Exodus, Far Cry New Dawn etc etc. They say there's too many Zombie games - but the same media are bugging out over RE2. Some have criticised TLOU f...
@Phantom
Dude, no one is trolling but you. This video is about people who have actually played the game i.e. a public demo - exactly what you're asking for. They've played it and they're saying that they like it and they will buy the game day 1! They've done what you asked, so what's the problem now?
But you're not trolling right? ... yeah not at all!

I'll just leave this here :) https://www.youtube.com/wat...
The fact that Sony Bend are allowing the general public to go hands on with the game is a very good sign of how confident they are, and how far along the game has come in its development. I'm really glad that the public perception is changing, I really don't understand why the gaming media immediately started throwing stones when the game was first shown at E3 2016. The hypocrisy of claiming "zombie fatigue" is clearly highlighted now that Resident Evil 2 is about to release...
If Detroit Become Human exceeded sales expectations despite all the media hate it received, I have no doubt that Days Gone will also - at the very least,meet sales expectation. It is practically the only AAA game coming out n April, combine that with a 90 million strong install base, and I'm willing to bet that pre-orders alone will top 1 million units. If they sell anything over 2 million copies, then they would have made a profit (assuming development cost $100mill).

Bethesda have slowly turned into some kind of ravaging monstrosity. I just don't know what's going on at Zenimax. I get intellectual property rights and all, but it still just leaves a bad taste with Bethesda's other shady practices over the last few months.
I'm not advocating that it's ok to steal another companies code or anything. But seriously - Bethesda could have instead claimed royalties, or reach a settlement agreement, and still allowed the game...
@Purrfection
I don't know man. I think Microsoft will find its audience for Crackdown 3. There are people that are looking forward to that game as much as you are looking forward to Days Gone. I think there's room in the industry for both games, and more importantly - both types of gamers.
I don't know how many copies each game will sell, but I think that is beside the point. Fortnite has sold over 50 Million copies. It means nothing to me. I ...
I agree that the melee combat's collision detection is still not quite there, but in terms of what has been shown so far, Sony Bend ave shown very different ways to deal with the horde - if you look back at the first trailers, don't forget the fact that you can use the horde as a weapon against marauder camps as well etc Also they've confirmed that they haven't shown all the freaker enemy types either; not to mention the rippers and other gangs. If you watched the last trailer...
Yeah I think they've increased their speed from last showings. The dev makes a point of saying that you can't out run them - which will really add to the tension, especially that you have a stamina bar that depletes anyway.
TBH that wasn't much of a combat breakdown, as much as it was simply showing the improvements since the last time we saw that "horde mode."
So freakers are now set on fire by the molotovs and they also seem to have a wider wardrobe selection, and new movement animations. Deacon also has new gear since last we saw him fight the horde, and explosions blow him away, and it seems his running animation has been updated as well. Also the kill confirmed xp counter ha...
The vibe in those trailers is just brilliant. Yeah I pre-ordered the game in the end. I know... I know... but I played the demo and I'm all in. I hope they let us unlock a 30 minute one-shot with Clare. That would be cool.
Yeah, lets stay well away from spoilers so we don't ruin the experience for anyone.
Aannndd... we should'nt accept that status quo. We should call it out whenever a game releases and charges full price for half the content. Battlefield V I'm looking at you! o.0
I'm pretty sure that Kojima will release a complete and fully formed game. you can say alot of things about Kojima's games, but unfinished is not one of them.... except for MGSV... but that had more to do with Konami than it did with Kojima.
Well this is the thing, we don't really know IF it's going to be better than destiny. We hope it will, but then again who could have ever imagined that bioware would single handedly destroy the Mass Effect francise with ME:Andromeda!
Well what would convice you? The game will be out soon, I'm willing to bet that althorugh it won't be perfect (no game is) it will still be more that worth the time to play it.

I do hope we get more info as it gets closer to release. I know they said this is the first of three trailers, so I hope we get more deep dives in those. The only thing is I don't think one trailer a month will be enough to really rasie it's media profile, but then again it is a Sony Exclusive and it will be releasing in a relatively quiet month.
I'm with you on this one, I'm really excited for this game. It was the media that immediatyely started throwing stones after it's reveal with comments like "oh it's just another zombie game" and "It's a TLOU clone" etc etc".
But I agree that I''m much more excited for this game than the likes of Far Cry New Dawn, Anthem and Destiny. I'd also pick Days Gone in a fight over Metro or Crackdown 3.
I can...
Well firstly I'd suggest you broaden your scope, going to only one media outlet is myopic. Secondly, you're deliberately avoiding other media outlets and their unfounded criticism for the game - including the ones I referenced above. For clarity, there's a difference between a conspiracy and a bias. I never said there was a conspiracy - there isn't, but there is a bias. You have no argument against the fact that every gaming media outlet is excited for RE2 - but yet when Days ...
