Was there ever any doubt? PS4 is a B345T!!!
Meh, I'll pass. I'm sure they didn't need the power of the cloud for this.
Well it has to, you've got nowhere else to go. But remember, your First Party Studio's are only as good as the games they put out.
Back-Compat is a must have, if not they'll fail so hard with the fanboy and media backlash. Good to hear that Mark Cerny is on the ball and has all but resolved the tech issues.
Silent Hill 2
Vagrant Story
There you have it folks. Game-Set-and-Match!
Exactly, maybe Sony should start publishing how many gaming hours players have logged on PSN, or how many zombie shave been killed in RE2 - I wonder what MS would have to brag about then?
Show - don't tell, has been Sony's strategy and it has been more than successful, I hope they continue in that regard going into next-gen with quality all round.
So my predictions base on nothing but my own gastric movements :)
(i) Anthem will get most of the media hype and rave reviews, it probably will sell well out the gate scaling the charts.
(ii) Crackdown 3 will be good enough to be the talk of the fanboys, but won't hit the high review scores.
(iii) Far Cry New Dawn won't perform as well as Far Cry 5, but with a lower price point will sell well
(iv) Metro will review moderately well, but with all the ...
OMG! That's crazy! I guess next gen we can expect Sony to capitalize on that, I just hope it doesn't lead to a digital only next gen.
Yeah they would get slaughtered by Microsoft's braggadosio if they don't include backwards compat. Sony would not hear the end of it. Heck the bruhahha over cross-play forced them out of the corner, and that was a relatively minor controversy. Trust me Sony do not want the fallout from not including back-compat in the PS5.
Looks like a poor mans Metal Gear. Maybe they're trying to fill the gap in the market.
Exactly.
Yeah in February I'll still be playing RE2. The only game that really interests me on that list is Metro Exodus, but I'm going to wait for a price drop.
Wait if the question is strictly - "which is the better horror game," Then RE7 hands down. However, If you're asking which is the better Resident Evil game - then I'd say RE2 without a doubt.
I'm not convinced that FFVII will release this gen. I don't think we'll even hear about it again unti next gen consoles are announced.
I'm actually surprised that RE2 has debut to 17% lower sales that RE7. I wonder if it's becasue of the VR mode? But it wouldn't surprise me if RE2 does go on to sell much more that RE7. If I remember correctly CAPCOM were not happy with the sales of RE7.
I'm really looking forwrd to this game, but man they need to stop showing the same demo over and over and over again. At least show a different mission, or a different gameplay loop. Anyway I hope as we get closer to launch we'll see more of the game - especially of the story, the lore and more of the characters etc.
There you have it folks, Death Stranding will "take awhile" before you can play it. Straight form the horses mouth - not that Kojima is a horse; although I wouldn't put it past him to cameo as a horse in one of his games. Anyway I really don't think this game will release this year, early 2020 is my bet with this one.
@Bronxs15
For all that said, Microsoft still lost this gen badly. The fact that they have bought new studios and have acknowledged the insufficiency of their 'First Party Organisation' is tantamount to MS recognizing that the Halo/Forza/Gears combo just didn't work for them this gen. They got outclassed and out-maneuvered by the competition. So while your essay is quite the passion piece, all the points that you raised were not enough to beat out Sony or even Ni...
