Thanks for the spoiler.
You rightly flag it in your article that it's a spoiler, but you leave it as the title of your article anyway - for clicks I presume. That's abit lame though isn't it. Your title could simply have read something like - "Sekiro Shadows Die Twice includes a very unique gameplay feature." But I guess that's not as clickbait as just putting the spolier in the title.
smh.
That's interesting, I thought Activision weren't going to send out Review codes until day of release. I guess they heard all the positive previews and decided to chage their minds.
TBH most From Software / SoulsBourne fans already have this game on pre-order, and they would have still bought the game without any reviews anyway.
Meh. Article for the sake of controversy. It's not the first time a game has featured child 'zombies'. Dead Space did it first. If you can't distinguish between fantasy and reality, then you need to stop playing games, full stop.
Too late. They went full retard a while ago.
Quote "It also allows the player some opportunities to use death to their advantage by luring enemies into a false sense of security. Some astute players may have noticed, but the E3/Gamescom demo also featured an item that allows you to cause your own death specifically for the purpose of taking this advantage."
Awesome, you can play dead, only to resurrect and stab the enemies in the back.
I'm really looking forward to Days Gone, but let's get real - it is just not in the same league as God of War.
I bet Sony will be rolling their eyes right now.
The real problem are the corporate execs that have sales targets, investment calls and profit margins in-mind BEFORE a game is even in develpment. For example Activision have lost Bungee, and you can bet you dog that the next game they publish (I'm looking at you Sekiro) will have a higher expectation to sell well, and their franchise staples will be expected to bring in more revenue from MTX to make up for the massive loss that they will take from losing Destiny.
EA a...
Wow! That music tho!
Seriously reminds me of when I was at Uni. It was 24hrs of gaming, going to parties getting blitzed and doing no study whatso ever... ahh good times.
Yeah, I loved the Killzone Liberation. Although I have to say that since Sony have dedicated their focus only on the PS4 it has gone from strength to strength. I hope they keep supporting VR though - that might be a game changer for them next gen if they do.
^^Exactly this. Why did I get my 42" if I'm going to end up gaming on my smartphone?
Hahahaha...
I watched the trailer and completely agree with you.
Frobisher Says was one of the best games on the Vita. There was just nothing like it. It's such a shame that Sony didn't see fit to invest in the Vita long term.
So many great games. If only I was 16 again and had all the time to stay up till 4am everyday just gaming.
I hope we do get a next-gen Warhawk, that would be awesome. Warhawk was so underrated for it's time.
My point is that EA will have mtx implemented in future. Just wait, you'll see.
@ sw33tBoi
I get that, I honestly do. You'll notice from my comment that I said "when they roll it out on the store." This is EA we're talking about. They have a full monetization plan behind this game. If you really believe this is not the case you may be in for an unpleasant surprise.
They can't. You have to understand that the grind and loot rarity is directly tied into their mtx revenue stream. If they make loot more available there'll be less incentive ro purchase that content when they roll it out on the store front. It's not something Bioware is free to do without the say so of EA.
Sekiro drops in 10 days....
Brilliant trailer, Can't wait for Friday.
Although I have to say, I can see that Activision either don't trust the From Software fanbase to be able to handle this game, or their trying to appeal to a more casual fanbase. The fear of the unknown and the thrill of discovery is such an integral part of Souls game, I hope they don't hold your hand throughout Sekiro.
That being said, I do understand that when gameplay mechanics are made deliberately ...
