A terrible generic zombie fps the same as a stealth action game that has powers set in the early 1900s? I don't see the connection apart from the fact that they are both played from the first person perspective.

And a 7.5/10 for an 'ok game' that is 'nothing special'? You should get a job for IGN, you seem to have no idea how ratings work. Average is a 5/10. You should use the same scale as a scale rating a women/man on their looks, someone that is 'ok...

Hacking on PC = kick by admin
Hacking on console = wait for patch

I know what I'd rather. Also why don't you search for BF3 hacks on xbox/ps3, they do exist. Either way I have played on PS3/360/PC and all 3 have minimal hacking. I would say PC is actually handled the best on official servers with proper anti-hacking, sure there are hackers on unofficial servers, but that's because it is hosted by people who CHOOSE to allow hackers.
Not sure what y...

"Hurr durr PS4 iz stronger dan all PCz!!!" - N4G fanboys

Oh right, let me guess, Dice are now lazy developers? Or is it 'we don't care about graphics' again, even though a few weeks ago it was all N4G could talk about?

Didn't you hear? PC gaming is dying.

Terrible analogy. For one, software doesn't age like a physical object does. McDonalds here in Australia will ALWAYS give refunds/replacements/vouchers for a terrible meal, I'd assume it's the same in most countries.

I didn't have to buy a new console to get something such as 'party voice chat' that was available on pc decades ago.

No special games? 10x more power through some optimisation? You clearly have no idea what you are talking about.

I'd say the double standard is that people thought the original showing of watch dogs was running on PS3. Now, nothing has changed and it's next gen material.

Wii-u and PS4 are next generation consoles. 'Consoles' implying 2 or more. There is two.

I'm not saying the nextBox won't come out this year, but this doesn't mean anything.

It's like saying nascar driving is unskilled because they have better handling than some crappy $100 car.

When everyone is using the same thing, and actually shooting where they mean to shoot, it means the game can be extremely hard. I'm guessing you are one of those people that think there is no learning curve, go look at the best CSS players, they make it look like what a soccer match would be with one of the worlds best teams versing some local teenage team.

Game is beautiful, but the story line is pathetic and lasts a good 5 hours, the whole thing felt like a tech demo. Here's to hoping we one day get a true sequel to Crysis 1, I want free roaming back.

I'm sure you are going to get flooded by fanboys disagreeing, but I really must agree. I have only seen the videos of Killzone and some screenshots (don't even know where they came from), but the game doesn't really look that amazing. The screenshots looked really flat. But I do have to say, the aesthetics of Killzone looked amazing, that opening scene looked amazing (again aesthetically speaking), I wish more games would push for a more 'open world' style where you actual...

You seem to be forgetting that pc games from decades ago are still being play. The most played game over consoles and pcs is World of Warcraft, which needs a monthly subscription price. And Diablo 3 set records for fastest selling PC game of all time. PC gaming is HARDLY destroyed.

The post is worded extremely badly then.

'Less than that. Most kits until pretty recently had only 1.5 GB usable for graphics'

So it was less than 2.2gb, 512mb is reserved, and only 1.5gb were usable for the graphics. So the rest of the game was only using 200mb of ram? Or is the dev kit actually completely different and contain something like 1.5gb usable for ram, and another 2gb used for the system?

4724d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

Lel at people who think it means anything. If it used 1.5gb of vram (it's unified, not vram), and people actually think the rest of the ram wasn't used, how is the game running? You think graphics is the only thing that needs ram? It could be using 1.5gb of UNIFIED ram for the gpu and the other 6.5 for other tasks. Or does everyone think this game is magically running off just the gpu?

I'm sorry to tell you this but some of the most popular pc games really aren't graphically pleasing.

Looking at you World of Warcraft, Counter Strike, LoL, Diablo, Starcraft.

PC devs are no different than console devs, the only reason is one is working with a specific set of specifications (ie one model), where as pc devs have to cater for almost all GPU/CPUs released in the last few years. But hey, it's obvious you are a fanboy, which probably pu...

No, the appeal is not the fact that the character owns a smart phone. Do people like call of duty for the fact that they own a p90?

The gameplay, the graphics, the story, are what make up the hype. Something different for once instead of your typical unoriginal games.

4725d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

What does owning a smart phone have to do with the game?

4725d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

You can plug a pc into a tv. Why do you assume that all console owners will have a tv, but not pc players?

4727d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

It's 8gb of unified RAM. It is shared between the gpu and the system like how many onboard graphic cards work in laptops.
