You still didn't particularly answer my question. VR has always been about a virtual reality, it doesn't change depending on the scenario. It's like saying a TV is different depending on what show you watch. The technology stays the same regardless, and virtual reality focuses on immersion in virtual worlds regardless of setting. Whether that be a 3D 'city' where you hang out with your friends, or a horror game, it's still exactly the same.
