I don't think Gears 2 is the best looking game on the 360. As far as having intricate details in the characters and background, Gears can't be beat. That's what Unreal engine is good for. I prefer more realistic looking graphics however. I prefer the backgrounds of games like The Darkness and Condemned that look almost photorealistic and don't have that animated look. COD4 looked awesome as well. And it always seems like racing games look excellent too.

Killzone 2 looks like an awesome game. Whether the 360 can eventually produce a game that looks as good remains to be seen. I think it can. Games like Resident Evil 5 and Lost Planet 2 look like they will be at least in the ballpark graphically, so in the future it should be able to.

Conehead, you can buy a 60GB 360 Pro for $100 less than a PS3. If someone adds the wireless adapter, only then is the price even, and that's if you pay full price for it. If you look around for a little bit, you can get it for less. Many people don't need the wireless, they just plug it into the wall. I hate to tell you, but most consumers don't consider those things anyway. They see the $299 vs. $399 price tag.

I disagree, I think games are a great storytelling medium. You can't build up a story as much as a book or movie of course, since the game play takes time away from that, but a game with a great story sucks you into it all the more.

Actually, in the photos shown, the Halo 3 pics hold up in most shots, and the textures in the first picture were actually better for Halo 3. This makes me think that the pics for KZ2 weren't shown in their full capacity.
