Zeebo. LOL.
@Shaka - isn't it coming to both consoles? I believe so.
CryEngine 3 is the clear winner, although there were a couple of shots, specifically the urban shot and the last shot where the UE3 looked better. CryEngine 3 is lacking a little bit in urban areas, but the jungle areas and human faces look unbeatable.
All 3 companies are in some phase of creating their next console, you would be dumb to think otherwise.
That would have worked if you hadn't have stopped me.
"Even though the Xbox 360 is solidly in second place, Microsoft seems more concern with Sony than they are with Nintendo."
I think both Sony and MS have given up on competing for Nintendo's demographic. I liken it to radio stations. A rock station wouldn't compete for the same audience that a rap or country station does. They compete with other rock stations. MS and Sony are going after the teen and up hardcore gamers, so naturally they're more concerned with each o...
Can't wait for this one. I hope it doesn't disappoint. I think this one has huge co-op multiplayer potential.
Anywhere up to 8 years? Just use the current engine and take 2-3 years to make another great RE for this current generation. 8 years is ridiculous.
Has Konami ever developed a game for the 360? I know Castlevania is on XBLA, but that's about it.
I tip my hat to Sony for doing that. And the fact that Sony has been so successful and profitable by still supporting the PS2 is the reason I think MS will support the 360 long into the next gen.
MS has said before that they stopped supporting the Xbox 1 because the hard drive costs were hurting them. Not sure if I believe that, it may be that they wanted to get an early start and go all in with this gen. But as long as they aren't losing money by producing 360's, which they...
Sony to kick around and steal exclusives and market share from. :-D
360 owners would win. The 360's controller is made for shooters. For many PS3 games, you press the R1 button to shoot. WTF? Use the trigger button, it feels way more natural. Not to mention, 360 owners have enjoyed online play for a longer period of time, are more experienced, smarter, look better, and get more girls. ;-D
There. There's my worthless argument based on nothing to go along with all of your worthless arguments based on nothing. Here's the real question: why is...
Your counting your chickens before they hatch my friend. Sony has a LONG way to go before they catch up. They may catch up to MS, but the days of PS2-like dominance have shifted over to Nintendo. MS and Sony will be battling for second. Even so, considering the shift of market share from last gen to this gen is a victory for MS and Nintendo unto itself. Sony seemed unstoppable a few years ago, and now they're lagging behind.
It will be interesting to see what next gen brin...
There's a search engine called Google. Use it. Their failure rate was more than 2%. You're the giant douche around here.
Still the 360's failure rate is inexcusable, but I'm just pointing out that every company has to learn a lesson the hard way at some point or another. MS can be d!cks, but Sony can too.
Yes, I totally agree, all of those sheep who bought the PS2 multiple times should be ashamed of themselves. To think that it actually took a class action lawsuit to get Sony to "care" what their customers think...shame shame.
I won't be getting the next Xbox until I'm sure it's reliable. It would also help if they continue a Sony-like business model by continuing to support the 360 long into the next gen. I'm pretty sure they will since Sony has proven how successful and profitable it can be.
My biggest concern is hardware quality. I think they'll be more willing to put it through the ringer this time around before they release it, since the language these corporations speak is money...and as we ...
Actually Azuman, MS's strategy of being first out of the gate has proven to be very successful. Once you pull your head out of your a$$, you'll see that.
@evilmonkey - That's an interesting website you provided - I liked it and bookmarked it. However, it is blatantly right leaning. It makes me wonder how trustworthy it is. Most research out there confirms that humans are speeding up the heating process. America has been taking the right steps to try and reduce CO2 emissions (and yes I read your article, but don't believe it), while the stupid Chinese pollute without regard like America did 100 years ago at the beginning of the industrial r...
Wow, that was a weird article. The game looks cool though, but when will we see it?
Oh, thank you Yohan, I took it seriously.
