It is your OPINION that games on the PS3 are better, idiot. Games sell more on the 360, that's a FACT. I'm not even sure that the PS3 has more exclusives. When you look at the games lists on wikipedia, it looks like the 360 has more, especially when you count the console exclusives, which, unless you actually buy them on the PC, which most people don't, are exclusives. I don't think the year of the PS3 has happened yet.

For those of you new to N4G, us fanboys like to associate games on the rival console with homosexuality because it shows off our creativity. Yeah!
Last gen, Sony fans said it was all about the games, since the Xbox was clearly more powerful, and Sony had better franchises. Now, except for Metal Gear, all of the third party franchises worth having have made their way to the 360, so they're saying it's all about graphics. So which is it? If the next Xbox blows away the PS4 in terms of graphics, then we know what they'll say.
The PS3 doesn't even blow 360 graphics away. Maybe with the exception of KZ2, RE5 beats everything....
I've only seen KZ2 on my computer monitor so far, but the most impressive game I've played first hand in terms of graphics is Resident Evil 5. The game is utterly amazing.
I'd rather play games made by the pros. It's cool that they have XNA though. I'm sure if you look, you'll find a couple of gems.
It's true, we are too graphics obsessed, but hey, the graphics are the icing on the cake. A game with realistic graphics will immerse you in the experience more, so they are important.
Style does make a difference too. If Mario looked like a real human, it wouldn't be the same. Speaking of art style, the game with the coolest art style released in the past year or two is definitely Braid.
For those who don't know, they released an update. You can strafe now, so the controls feel more free.
I've been playing this game and it is awesome. The graphics are incredible, and the game play is fun too. There's this one level where you're in a mine shaft, and you or your partner has to hold a lantern that doesn't let you see very far at all, while the other shoots. It's pretty intense. The online co op is awesome. Definitely a GOTY candidate.
I must say, this is quite an impressive gathering of retards.
By the way, RE5 is an awesome game.

The Gears cover system is awesome, but the Rainbow Six cover system puts everything else to shame. I don't see why most shooters can't incorporate controls similar to Rainbow. Whiners would say that they're copying, but hey, why change perfection?
I've played the WANTED demo, and the cover system is not up to Gears's quality. Gears's control are much more polished and fluid. The game with the best cover system is either Gears or Rainbow Six: Vegas. Rainbow's controls are damn near perfect.
If a game is exclusive to the 360 and Windows, that means you still have to play it on a Microsoft platform. Yes, Gears and Halo are available on the PC, but they are games that you CAN'T PLAY ON THE PS3 OR WII! That means they are console exclusive to the 360! They seem close, but the 360 has better textures, especially in the pics free3sixty linked to above. There was one comparison shot linked to by OmarJA above where the PS3 version looked better, but in most, the 360 has the edge, with it being sharper and having better textures.
Shane, don't be bitter that MS offers more DLC so you can get even more out of your purchases. You know very well that if it were the PS3 versions getting the DLC, you'd be bragging saying that you can get more out of the PS3 versions. Sometimes, believe or not, I opt to get DLC to get more out of a game rather than going and getting a new one. I'm playing Fallout right now, and after I play RE5, maybe I'll get some of the Fallout DLC. Then again, maybe I'll download the Lost and the Damn...
Halo will continue to be a success. I'm sure that there are many companies out there that can produce better graphics AND storylines for the game besides Bungie. Besides, if Bungie doesn't have a passion for it anymore, why should they be forced to continue the series? I'm sure MANY companies would froth at the mouth for their chance to continue the most popular exclusive out there.

If Halo Wars was a FPS, I would've bought it. However, RTS is not my cup of tea. Maybe I'll give the demo another try, but there are other games that I haven't gotten to that I'd rather play. Plus, I'm counting down the days to RE5!

It's ok, cut Galvanise some slack. After all, when comparing multiplatform games head to head, the PS3 fans don't have much to brag about! This occasion is no different considering that the 360 version runs smoother, has been graphically updated, and has hours upon hours of DLC to expand your gaming experience with.
