In the first shot, the mountain off to the right is lacking in the 360 version, and the PS3 version looks clearer. In the second shot, the PS3 version doesn't have as much texture along the wall to the right and the rigid part of the wall in the back, and it doesn't have as good of lighting as the 360 version does.
Don't worry, we'll see some incredible looking games on both systems.

Jealousy breeds contempt. If MGS4 or Killzone 2 had some DLC, then they would say how awesome it is. They're just mad because the 360 gets all of the best versions of multiplatform games.
When Lazlow was on the Opie and Anthony show promoting The Lost and the Damned, lots of PS3 owners were sending angry instant feedbacks into the studio because they were JEALOUS that they weren't getting it.

And I don't care what anyone says, that News4Goons line was hilarious. I laughed out loud. I don't think it's funny that anyone's mother is dead, but the line was great. Anyone with a dark sense of humor can appreciate it.
I agree, the urban area was not impressive. The jungle scenes were extremely impressive though, as were the physics. Hopefully the urban area was just quickly put together for the demo, because I would like to see this engine used as much as the Unreal engine is currently used.
The 360 deserves respect for its accomplishments and for managing to stay ahead of the PS3 all this time, something everyone thought impossible last gen. The 360 also has managed to produce possibly the greatest library in the history of video games.
MS should lose respect though for deliberately rushing the 360 to market. They may have improved its reliability over time, but it was still a headache for many early users.

The 360 currently has the best library of games. I'm surprised the Wii didn't have more stinkers than it did.
Sony will be settling for the bronze medal this generation, unless we're not counting Nintendo, then they'll take the silver. I really don't think that Sony will catch up to MS this gen.
I think they both see each other as threats for the market, which is why it's apparent that they both work very hard. Nintendo sees neither as a threat, since they go the kids route. Nintendo also doesn't appear to work as hard to offer their customers as much as the other two.
I think Sony and MS both fear one thing way more than each other...the poor economy.
It would've sold better, but it wouldn't reach Halo numbers. It probably wouldn't even reach Gears numbers. I don't think any exclusive will reach Halo numbers in the next couple of generations.
Exactly. MS and Sony would catch on very quickly if companies start pulling this crap. If they pay for an exclusive, than it shouldn't turn up on the competing console in any form whatsoever.
I'm a big fan of the party chat. It's nice to hear your friends and keep everyone else out. Not to mention, you can go from game to video, etc. while keeping everyone together. It's a great feature.
TallTony, I don't think PS3 will have party chat for awhile, since they still have yet to implement the basic features you mentioned, which have existed on the 360 for years.
