That's the uneducated, casual-fan majority. The kind of players that buy Wii's and don't come on this board. Most people on this website know their crap about video games, regardless of whether they're in the Sony or Microsoft camp.
The 360 has equal or better graphics when compared to the PS3. So far games have both looked and run better on the 360.
I hope PS3 fans aren't holding their breath for a game that will come out and make everyone say that there's no way the 360 can produce those kind of graphics. That day won't come.

There's no excuse for it overheating under normal conditions, very true. But when it says in the manual (on page 3 to be exact) not to confine it in enclosed spaces or block any ventilation holes, then it's not the fault of Microsoft. Every 360 in a plastic display case is violating the instructions. "360 Sheep", you talk as if every 360 is going to break, when you know that it's nowhere even near possible.

Anyone who has seen me post on this board knows that I think the 360 is the best system with the best games and overall experience. You're right, it is about QUALITY and not QUANTITY. And that's why I chose the 360 over PS3. Of course the 360 is winning in quantity too. On GameSpot, games rated 9.0 or greater don't come that often. Two of the three games for PS3 that are 9.0 or greater are also available on the 360.
I'm not sure if it's still true, I'd have to do the math, but for a long time, the 360 had more games rated 8.0 or greater than the PS3 had games, period.

The 360 has more than those three exclusive. Go to GameSpot.com and look at all of the upcoming releases in '07 and beyond. Those three are consistently mentioned because they look incredible. Bioshock, Mass Effect and Halo 3 will blow everyone away.
As if you even have to ask. The 360 blows away the competition this year. I didn't like the games used in the article though. Ace Combat 6 and Viva Pinata: Party Animals? They couldn't pick anything better out of the selection?
COD 2 was a great game, but my favorite 360 launch game was definitely Condemned: Criminal Origins. I can't wait for the sequel in '08!
Kaneda would you relax? It's just a prediction. Don't get me wrong, I would love for it to come to the 360, but if it doesn't, it's not the end of the world. Just like PS3ers want BioShock or Mass Effect, but they will survive if they don't get it.
I'm just saying it's at least a possibility, and I do think it will eventually happen. I think at the very least the 360 will get some sort of Metal Gear game (like in the past) even if it's a spin off.
I haven't played it yet, but if it's as bad as everyone is saying, then it's a huge disappointment. This game looked SO cool, especially if you love the survival horror and stealth genres like I do.
Why does everything have to be a conspiracy? Microsoft doesn't lie when they add security patches to Windows, it says it right on the screen. I'm not sure why they would keep adding a security patch to the 360 a secret. That would be a good thing, it lets everyone know that they looking for vulnerabilities and fixing them.
There will probably be another price drop soon enough. I think how it sells will dictate how long it stays at the new price point. You can get a 360 with no fear of it breaking, especially with the new heatsink. And with the 3 year warranty to fall back on, you're good to go. With all the great games coming out, now is a great time to get one.
Leon - UT3, Haze, GTA IV, Splinter Cell 5, Alan Wake, Fable 2, Fallout 3, 2 Days to Vegas, Condemned 2, Black, Saints Row 2, Endwar, etc., etc. in 2008. It will be another great year. And, I'm going to go on record and predict...that in the fall of '08, MGS4 will come to the 360.

Screw the guys without a HDD. The rest of the people shouldn't have to suffer. If they want to get the most out of the 360, they need to get an HDD anyway.
I wasn't too big of a fan of Crackdown. I think this will blow it away. At the very least, the graphics will be a lot better, but graphics are only the icing on the cake.

Yeah, sure, Mass Effect looks like crap. Take your head out of the sand. Mass Effect could be game of the year. So could Bioshock. It's getting near perfect ratings everywhere.
Most of the heavy-hitters that the PS3 is getting, the 360 is getting at the same time, or in the case of UT3 and Haze, next year.
I think this article is over-analyzing things just a tad. The delay of GTA will hurt sales for both consoles this holiday season, but it will help in early 2008 when it does come out. I would have to say that the delay hurts the PS3 more because it has less to fall back on.

Lolz, your logic is flawed. Most people are either console gamers or PC gamers. I for example am strictly a console gamer. I want to play Bioshock, Mass Effect, etc. on my TV in my living room. Regardless of whether PS3 gets Bioshock or not, the 360 has the games that I want to play, more so than the PS3.
