You don't see a human face, you just see people in suits, that's why you don't think the graphics aren't as good. But go back and take a look at the detail of the characters and scenery, and you will see that the graphics are top notch.
@ audiggity...I agree that the 360 is better, but that was a little harsh wasn't it? What console you get is really just preference (or budget), not stupidity. I too think that the 360 crop of upcoming games is better, but if someone wants to play Warhawk and Lair, then that's fine by me. Remember, as gamers, we all need ALL 3 consoles to succeed, in order to keep competition high and quality high, while help maintaining price control.

Lair looks very impressive visually, I'll give it that. However, a bunch of repetitive, mundane gameplay can drag down the most impressive looking of games. This isn't the only review to give Lair a mediocre score. There must be a good reason why it's receiving these scores.
If the ps3 were #1 worldwide, this would be a non-story. But since they're playing catch-up to the other two, someone deemed this newsworthy.
I hope it doesn't come down to reporting on what's #1 with each country. If the 360 is #1 in Argentina, or the Wii is #1 in Kuwait, does it really matter?
Give Denmark some credit though, at least they have one of the two HD, truly next-gen systems as #1, even if it's not the one that offers the best gaming experience :...

I do do research, idiot. I never said all Japanese games were bad, I just said many that THEY LIKE TO PLAY are mediocre. I've read articles before supporting that the Japanese like games that are easier, and where the camera is stationary. I've played Metal Gear Solid and RE4. Two of my favorite games ever. Correct me if I'm wrong, it's been awhile, but aren't the camera angles stationary in MGS and most RE games (except for 4?).

The Japanese are extremely loyal. They love their own. But then again, they also love the mullet hair style. Not to mention a bunch of mediocre games. The Japanese also are not big fans of shooters or games where you get to control the camera. They like the camera set for you. The Japanese are weird like that.
Haze will be coming out for both systems, which means that if Haze is the most awesome game ever, than the only losers in this situation are the people who bought a Wii.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see if it's average or not. Some of the things they describe in EGM sound pretty good for A.I.
In the latest issue of EGM (with the Halo collector's covers) there is an extensive article on Halo 3, and it mentions how good the AI is going to be and how smart the Covenant will be. I'm not going to go into detail, read the article if you want to, but it sounds like it will deliver the goods in the AI department.
It's been debated left and right which system is more powerful. We've all heard "the Cell is more powerful and BluRay holds more space" this, and "the 360 has a better graphics card and disbursement of RAM" that. Like the 16 bit battles between Nintendo and Sega, I don't think either system will ever blow away the other, performance-wise. Get the one you think has the overall best experience to offer.

Gamers sure are whiny and finicky. Many are just plain geeky. I JUST got a Samsung 40inch LCD at 1080P, but I'm not going to whine. I'm going to play the potential Game of the Year that is BioShock, and hope for an update.
Let's think about this people: some of you are going to pass up a game that's getting 9.4 - 10 reviews because the FOV is the same in widescreen and 4:3? Insanity folks, INSANITY! That's what I say.
