Microsoft needs to: 1) Let the public know that they've fixed the problem. 2) Announce a price drop. 3) Wait for its amazing fall lineup, which includes Halo 3.
Microsoft will be just fine. All 3 companies will have peaks and valleys, just look at Sony. They had a disastrous start with PS3, but they'll be just fine, as will Microsoft. The best thing Microsoft has going for it is its superior, unmatched gaming lineup and gaming experience. The hardcore gamers know that the 3...
We just got the original Sonic the Hedgehog, Golden Axe, Bomberman, and a great demo of The Darkness, how about yourself? Honestly Xbox Live is the best live service around, and Sony has some serious catching up to do before it will rival it.
This posted twice for some reason, didn't mean to.
If the game takes place in a black area, and the black people are acting that way because they were turned in zombies, then it doesn't portray them in a negative light. They are zombies after all.
If it were all white zombies, no one would say anything. What a sad, overly-sensitive, politically correct world we live in. Pathetic.
That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Are you one of those sissies that's ruining the world because you think everything needs to be politically correct? Do you think everyone needs to act overly sensitive?
Didn't RE4 take place in a European village? Maybe the village had Spaniards in it. You make it sound like it took place in America, and the only people that were singled out were latinos. RE5 takes place in the desert, possibly in Africa. I'm pretty sure there are...
I think Gears looked better. But why even compare the two? Take footage from the 360 UT3 and the PS3 UT3 and compare the two. Not that you'll need to, since they'll look almost identical, but compare them anyway.
Apparently you don't know much about economics. You see, the cheaper something is, the more people will be willing to buy it. Especially these days, when the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. A lot of people have to stretch the dollar as much as they can.
A price cut for any system will increase sales for it. I guarantee that those 11 people who bought the Xbox 1 this month settled for it over the 360 because of lack of money.
Theoretically this should've happened sooner with all the hype behind the ps3. The fact that it hasn't says something about the effect that price and lack of games can have on a system (duh). A price drop, along with Ninja Gaiden Sigma has helped ps3 sales. A price drop along with games like Bioshock, Mass Effect, and the granddaddy of them all, Halo 3, will boost 360 sales.
The sad thing is, I think some people may be waiting for a ps3 because of brand recognition, and not ...
Peter Moore was probably responsible for hosting the event. It most likely centered around him. Since he is no longer with Microsoft, he won't be doing the event anymore. Then again, maybe it has nothing to do with that, who knows.
The 360 will continue to sell with or without Moore. They'll find someone to fill his shoes if the new guy doesn't.
EDIT: It looks like Moore is heading to EA in September. I'm not sure when his last day at MS is, or if he would'v...
Why would you hope they cancel the Xbox when millions enjoy it? Are you insecure because the PS3 hasn't sold that much yet? What an ass.
You are so biased that KZ2 could have N64 graphics and you would still say it beats GOW. In the video presented at the top of the page, it's like night at day. It's not even close. GOW blows KZ2 away. KZ2 looks unpolished in that video. If you want something on PS3 to compete with GOW in the graphics department, you'll have to wait for UT3.
I thought it would at least be 9:1. Hopefully Mass Effect and other games will help the 360 gain ground in Japan.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this will be a Game of the Year candidate. I'm also going to go out on a limb and say that the sun will rise tomorrow.
This is the next-gen game that I am looking forward to the most! Maybe they should change the name of this game to Duke Nukem Forever.
According to nexgenwars.com, the 360 has passed 11,500,000. Everywhere you look, the numbers are a little different. The Wii will pass the 360 soon though. I will say though that the Wii is a child's toy compared to the other two.
I think the Wii is actually good for the other two companies. The Wii will bring in casual gamers. Some of them will turn into hardcore gamers, and want to pick up a 360 or PS3.
On graphics alone, GOW wins, hands down. But you can say that about almost any game. We won't know if it has better gameplay until it is released and the public can form an opinion. It will be tough to beat GOW though. Everywhere you looked last year, there were two games that seemed to be winning the Game of the Year honors, depending on which magazine, website, or awards show it was. One was Oblivion, the other was Gears of War. Will Killzone 2 be able to live up to that? Probably not...
Is it going to be shaped like John Madden's fat head? I bet it will be officially sponsored by tough actin' Tinactin.
Yeah, wouldn't it be great if it's all part of a plan for Microsoft to acquire EA? That would be great! Won't happen though.
If I recall correctly, there was quite a shakeup in Sony a few months ago, because the PS3 isn't going quite as well as expected. Peter Moore is a great public figure, but Microsoft will go forward without him. I'm sure that Mr. Gates will take out his wallet if need be in order to find someone that can be just as good of a public face if the new guy doesn't work out.
Just like people didn't magically stop buying PS3's a few months ago, people won't magically stop buying 360...
Unless you're a hardcore gamer that prefers consoles. Many more great games come out for consoles than PC. PC gaming has been on the decline for some time now.
