This is exactly what they said about PS4/XB1 before they were announced as physical consoles.
The Getaway is here at last! (Kind Of).
Duplicate post.
Targeting 60fps, they aren't there yet.
35-55fps (so called unlocked 60fps), it kind of makes a mockery of those saying framerate is so important (nobody seems to have noticed anything wrong with the beta).
Check the latest DF analysis, it still doesn't run at 60fps.
It varied between 35 and 55 fps and hit 60 very occasionally. I'm surprised nobody noticed as a choppy framerate is so off-putting according to so many here.

@Immorals
Disappointing it isn't the cheapened model?
Name a single thing that Nintendo invented (not the usual bs that is associated with them despite being used before such as motion control, analogue sticks etc).
Well, I was just pointing out that you haven't got the foggiest clue when Sony will announce anything, yet you talk as if you're an expert on the matter;
"If it doesn't happen there, project M. will probably not launch until fall 2016 or spring 2017".
What a lot of bullsh@t, but thanks for your wisdom that you plucked straight from your anus.
It's not what you said, its how you portray yourself as being knowledgeable on the s...
@SpaceDelete
You really ought to try it before bashing it. You seem a bit of a technophobe, but remember, video games were brand new tech once, was their anything wrong with just watching TV?
I don't know why you've come to that conclusion. Sony said first half of 2016, they said nothing about a price announcement at PSX (although quite plausible).
If they don't announce it at PSX, they'll announce it some other time. I'll take Sony's word over yours, thanks all the same.
@Jason
Thanks for telling me how I would react to a Sony B/C announcement. Unfortunately you are wrong.
Firstly I don't cheer gaming announcements ever, secondly I don't high five (its so lame), and finally, its not a big deal to have b/c in a console.
I wonder how many of YOU would be devastated if Sony had b/c and MS didn't (I imagine it wouldn't be many).
It would be a complete waste of effort for me perso...
Maybe it's only "huge" when your preferred brand is doing it.
The one thing that ALL owners of a PS3 have in common is that they all own a PS3 (so why do they need a PS3 emulator when moving to PS4).
Those that still want to play PS3 games can do so. Having PS3 b/C in the PS4 wouldn't mean any benefit to anybody other than former PS3 owners (and that is only slightly more convenience when switching from one console to another).
@star_lancer
Well, maybe it would have cost 1.5 billion or more to fix if people hadn't bought replacements. Think about it.
@angelic
If you spent $1500 on software and all your friends were on one system, would you replace your console with a like for like replacement for $300 or spend $300 + $1500 (software) on a new system that your friends don't own?
RRoD was a very real reason for inflated 360 sales.
@pistolsatdawn
I'm pretty sure MS doesn't view the Xbox brand and PC as both being their "children". They make absolutely nothing from the vast majority of PC games (unless they produce or publish them).
It is pretty dumb to say MS don't see PC gaming as competition, they are a business not a charity and would much rather a game sells on Xbox than PC.
It's like saying "Sony doesn't mind which console you play, after ...
Of course YOU don't think VR will be viable for a few years yet, because Nintendo expressed that standpoint a few days ago.
You have to remember that the PS4 user base is already large and growing fast.
Sony aren't having to persuade people to buy a console and Morpheus, they just need to persuade a significant number of PS4 owners to jump on board.
They will doubtless pick up some console sales, but those aren't necessary.
Those ...
I tend to agree with the article, probably the most realistic portrayal of warfare in videogames.
A great addition to the PS4 library.
There are plenty being released this year also.
They hinted that it may become an annual thing after the success of the first one. They asked fans what they thought of the idea of making it a regular event.
@slaphappy
Just pointing out facts as I would with any platform, if facts burst peoples bubbles, blame 343i not me.
