@Manic2014
It's 40% more powerful (the exact difference between the original consoles). The only difference is it has significantly more RAM which I admit will make a difference.
No the Wiimote was the greatest thing ever created but the PSmove was just a trashy nonsense copycat device.
Of course it is. They've taken the solid information they have and extrapolated furter information from slides and pictures of silicon designs.
I don't know how else they could do it, it seems reasonable to me.
It is, just wait, its coming, wait.
Does this mean the cloud will make the Scorpio 4x more powerful like it did with the XBOne??......Oh, wait, wait, wait and see.
If Nintendo came up with it, it would be linked to naff cuddly toy shooting games and Nintendoids would claim that it was the best thing ever created.
Really?
More importantly it won't be compromised in order to shoehorn in elements of the film that detract from the game experience.
He's not upset because he's a Microsoft fan, he's a Nintendo head so he is obviously going to be depressed right now.
The decline of Ninty and the fact that they don't like people to compare their games at conferences (presumably why they don't show up at E3 nowadays) is very worrying.
Sony delivered content with style. Microsoft tried to salvage something from this gen.
Sony understands E3 and hit their stride, Microsoft are trying to stay relevant in the console market and had to do something.
They both done what they needed to do.
Scorpio has been talked about for months so the confirmation wasn't that huge (although they did shoot themselves in the foot by announcing the slim then essentially telling you not to buy it because there's a new bone coming).
To be honest, the Scorpio is probably the best way for Microsoft to stay relevant this generation.
@Brisco
E3 is about garnering excitement for the games industry. It is all about hype and sensory stimulation.
It should introduce new titles to get the hype rolling and show updates on previously announced games.
Sony knocked it out of the park, they understand better than anybody how to put on a show for E3.
Nobody was talking about power with the Atari 2600 (at least not in my playground). But then there was no internet so maybe they did elsewhere.
Yeah, now they have GTA5 to compare it to also, I don't think it will do as well.
Watchdogs was a well designed game, it just wasn't much fun to play. Took itself too seriously if you ask me.
Of course the first game sold well, there was very little else around at the time. I even have a copy.
I dont think I'll buy this one though, not because it's bad franchise, just because there's is a huge choice of games now and I have limited funds.
It will be interesting to see how the sequel sells with a bigger install base, but far larger choice on PS4/X1.
Lol, I know you're being genuine but it is funny to hear the reason you haven't bought an XBO is that you..... "don't have enough room to lay it down flat".
Well at least they've had time to look at how Sony managed to fit a power supply inside a small box.
I bet their next console is still a suitcase with a power brick though.
Lol@ Comments below.
Yes you are all correct, racism is terrible..... It's homophobia and misogyny we celebrate on this site!
Just imagine the uproar that these pages would be generating if the protagonist were a lesbian, or the meltdown that would occur if they were trans-gender!
All hate and predudice are equally wrong and infantile.
Here's my favourite headline;
"E3 Headline generator isn't funny and is a bit lame."
@theRightSide
It's funny how suddenly 40% more power is a huge thing when Microsoft has the advantage. When Sony had the same advantage it was insignificant.
Power wasn't important then, now it's the most important thing ever. I wonder how many who said they don't care about graphics, only games, go on to buy one?
@rico
I would expect the specs are pretty accurate by now, there's been plenty of leaks which ...
