I know, he thinks that October is a bad time to launch because of some big titles being released.
If you have the money and desire to buy PSVR are you really going to buy a game instead?
Also getting it out in October allows them to sell loads for Christmas presents through to December. Surely it's the ideal time to launch.
My next console will be the PS5. I'm more than happy with the PS4 I own and can't see that changing in the next 3 years.
Me too (who is he?)
Never heard of LeBron (what a silly name) James.
Why do Black Americans give their kids pseudo-French nonsense names?
I must admit that some are very funny;
Starwishi (Not French but hilarious).
LeTrene (name a kid after a toilet?)
Maybe they have the graphics engine in place but with limited content and mechanics implemented.
Yeah, MS would have cut all ties within 6 months (then re-commission them for a game later at 10x the cost).
MS have already stated that Scorpio devs can produce Scorpio only games.
There's a big difference between Neo and Scorpio.
Neo is an updated PS4 that only exists in the PS4 environment. It will have no games that aren't available on the standard PS4.
Scorpio is a new console that will be backwards compatible with Xbox One titles. It WILL have its own unique titles that are not available on the X1.
That's why Scorpio can be seen as XBOX TWO but Neo can not be PS5.

So you shouldn't be allowed to remove a feature that proves detrimental to the products security?
Maybe you shouldn't add features that aren't announced at launch (as you don't get the machine you thought you were getting-its better).
Changes should be made on a case by case basis.
If Linux was "the number one reason" to buy a PS3, you would have bought a PC.
Nobody bought a PS3 to run Linux.
You'd have to be a blind fanboy to think that Microsoft had the best E3 show.
They announced an updated console, a 4k-light console, a single game (sequel) and a confused PC strategy.
For who? PC gamers don't like Microsoft's over priced games and paywall and Xbots have an Xbox.
It would be far better if the games were available on steam. Then it would be something big.
It's the best RE game I've played in years.
It doesn't seem like RE because it doesn't have the terrible voice acting that plagues the series.
Really atmospheric and very unnerving. That was what I thought about the original when I first played it too.
I only ever really enjoyed the original game in the series, but I'm interested in this.
Well a lot of the problems have been solved by Sony using superior screens with sub-pixel RGB. They may be lower resolution, but they are better quality, which many have said more than makes up for the difference.
It has a co-processor built in to reduce strain on PS4 CPU. They will drop textures rather than frame rate to keep the experience smooth.
All of your concerns have been widely discussed at length, and answered by Sony.
Well it fixes some of the problems with the Rift and Vive, is a lot more comfortable, and runs just as well but with reduced (or eliminated) textures.
Not sure how severe the differences are other than textures. I suppose it depends on what value you put on such things.
If the experience is more immersive, the textures shouldn't be as detrimental as they would be in a normal game.
Sounds like 95% of the experience for a fraction of ...
Some games on my CBM 64 used to take over 45 minutes to load (or fail to load).
I waited because it was worth it to play the games (some of which were terrible).
I wouldn't wait 45 minutes to play "Jetpack" today, but I would wait a lot longer than 4 mins to experience something phenomenal that I haven't yet experienced.
Now it's down to Sony to prove that PSVR is something phenomenal.
As of no...
"The PSVR worked perfectly fine once on and it also looked good, at about parity with the Rift or Vive headsets."
"For regular gamers this is absolutely the best of high end without the crazy price and I see there's potential for this to really take off on Playstation. "
That seems like a "tech impression" to me.
@BlackDoomAx
What you are asking for is not a "tech impression&quo...
It was weird playing the teaser demo, ResEvil without the cringe-inducing, phoned-in, cardboard voice acting.
It plays much better than I expected, I am interested in a RE title for the first time in ages.
Well, at the big motor shows they show you the concept cars, many of which are due to be released in the next 2-3 years.
They use them to gather consumer reactions to certain aesthetic changes, new ideas etc.
Apparently you are either not from Liverpool (according to the strange down voting), or people aren't aware of the huge problem with voice recognition and British regional accents.
He isn't trolling, even the best voice recognition software struggles with accents such as Scouse, Glaswegian, Geordie, Black Country etc.
