People get it, they just don't like that Microsoft is trying to destroy the console market they were unable to impact upon in the way they wanted to.
Microsoft is trying to win the console war by killing off the console market and moving gamers to PC.
Sony aren't a big player in the PC world so Microsoft realise that the only way to defeat them is on their home turf.
Microsoft are attempting to phase out consoles as soon as pos...
Wow, you are so special, great and wise.
No sorry, my mistake.
But he at least admits they moved the goalposts so as not to be unfavourable when compared to Sony (although he only did so in a slimey indirect kind of way).
Maybe Microsoft shouldn't have told consumers that the cloud would make their XBone 4x more powerful.
It is quite obvious that it hasn't, even if it could be theoretically possible, the infrastructure isn't ready for some years yet (hence Microsoft still investing heavily in it).
So the problem with the cloud is that Microsoft promised 1000x more than it can deliver THIS GENERATION!
It's not that it isn't going to be...
Yeah, ID be pissed with the better choice of console too (if I were a moron).
Why do you want a Scorpio and a PC? What possible reason can you have to buy a Scorpio other than blind brand loyalty?
Microsoft can't win the console war so they are trying to kill off the console market entirely.
They know they won't sell any consoles when better versions of the same game are cheaper on a more powerful PC.
And people are complimenting them on their choices, its like praising the assassin just before he stabs you in the heart.
And Major Nelson said the XBox One (original version) could stream 4k video, upscale content from 1080p to 4k AND PLAY 4K GAMES.
If that were true why release the "s"?
Nobody knows about NX or Neo?
The choice illusion. People believe that more choice is better, yet they are actually happier with less choice and fewer decisions to be made (there's lots of scientific research that backs this up).
Not all of us enjoy holy days with fun boys!
There is a point in owning a console if you like Sony exclusives. No reason to own an Xbox and PC though.
I think it's you who seems the most worried here.
Sorry about Nintendo BTW.

"It is confirmed, the Xbox One will support 4K resolution media as well as 4K resolution games and up scaling 1080p games into a 4K resolution."

Team 17 used to make great games. Give up on worms and do something new, please.
What puzzles me is that MS stated at their initial reveal that the X1 could run 4k video AND GAMES.
Sony said PS4 could only support 4k video.
So I guess this means Microsoft were talking out of their bums again.
(Or maybe the weather forecast changed and the expected power cloud never materialised).
Scorpio has been known about for months, how was it "truly something special"?
Nintendo incorporating voices in games now (damn that's futuristic)!
It isn't, it just solves the problem of moving and shooting.
It's not a secret weapon, its the obvious solution to a problem that was only made a big issue by nay-sayers.
You can't see it with the VR helmet on, why worry what it looks like?
Or supplying the port? They've taken the port out so you require an adapter to plug in Kinect.
To be fair, I think the consumer lost faith which meant MS had little choice in the matter.
