It doesn't look good if they feel they have to "explain the advantages of the NX".
The reason Wii sold so well was because its advantages didn't need explaining. People saw it and wanted one.
WiiU needed a hell of a lot of explaining (to the public, the devs, the publishers, the stores and of course the shareholders). It can't be a good sign if they don't believe people will just see an NX and want one.

PC is not a console. PC is not owned by Microsoft. Windows 10 is not a console. Windows 10 is not a console platform. Windows 10 is in a different marketplace to consoles.

Markets shift. Samsung used to be small, Sony used to be bigger, "Lucky Goldstar" could barely sell any of its budget electronics in the west before it rebranded itself as "LG" .

Well, I'd worry about that when there are signs of it struggling, not when it overcomes difficulties and strengthens itself.

As a professional filmmaker, I can tell you that Sony cameras (video at least) are extremely highly regarded.
They are said by some to be the only manufacturer to have never made a bad camera.
