I'm most surprised by the USA figures, which are higher than average at >80%. Still, Microsoft are still doing well considering all the negativity. Plenty of time for this to change, but wow for now.
You don't replace the controller, just the battery, and you charge it whilst playing. How can AA or a battery pack even compete with that?
Never had a PS3 battery die on me. My friend did, it took me 2 minutes to take the pad apart, change the battery and put it back together. It's a non-issue, takes about as long as tying your shoe laces.
So far I have spent £0 on batteries since buying my PS3 at launch, how much have you spent for 360 controller batteries?
There was a case here in England a couple of years ago where a teenager was 'joking' on line with his friends about killing his ex girlfriend. His final comment was along the lines of "by lunchtime tomorrow, she will be dead, lol".
Nobody thought anything more than he was joking around, until the next day when they found her body. A young girl of 15/16 was murdered because nobody took his threats seriously and assumed he was joking.

Thats not entirely true, he does need to take some responsibility for what he said. I'm sure that if your child had just been slaughtered in their school by some spoiled, attention-seeking idiot, you wouldn't be so ready to dismiss this kind of 'joke'.
Its harsh, but I think that the 8 years is only a maximum prison term and he hasn't been sentenced yet (I could be wrong on that though). Maybe people should think before they say...
I've only ever played FFVII, I did enjoy it a lot (spent most of the time chockabo racing), then some idiot stole one of the two disks it came on before I could finish it.
After a few years, I thought I'd like to see how the series had developed and just found a confusing mess of titles and spin-offs, so I went to an online forum to see which was the best for my tastes and just came across so much hostility, bickering and confusion that I gave up entirely.

The problem is that this has been altered from the original article and spun out of context to favour the Xbox. I read the original article and it didn't say this at all. That is why people are "crying foul", because the author has altered the content and context of the original article.
