Don't get me wrong, Forza 5 looks great, a classy game on many levels, but I want to see the newest build of DriveClub before I dismiss it (I have a feeling there's going to be big improvements).
The trouble is the eSRAM chip is huge and that type of RAM runs hot, so it wouldn't surprise me if xbox1 runs hotter than ps4.
The thermal compound on the launch models is well applied, on the newer versions it is just splodged on and doesn't even cover the chip, another thing to check if yours overheats (get some high quality thermal paste or pads to improve thermal conductivity).
My PS3 60gig launch model died within 3 months (Christmas day), but I got a replacement before the new year. When that YLOD'ed it was out of warranty, so I learned how to fix them.
I have 5 opened PS3's at the moment (pick them up for <£20 each). It takes a few hours to fix them.

They are great fun. I buy one or two per console generation. I love Total War for its complexities, I love Dynasty Warriors because it's pure, undiluted, arcade fun with hundreds of enemies in need of a good slashing/stampede etc.
Its an old school arcade game at heart and rather than modernise it, they just add new enemies and more on screen at once, and believe me there's a place in the market for games like that. Don't change, just keep doing what you do best (...
They'll make their own games. Or rather produce thousands of cloned copies of each and every game thats successful in any market globally.

I had a jaguar ( bought it with loads of games for next to nothing when it failed). It was cool, just no great games. I used to give my brother's friend's brother £20 to borrow his 3do for the weekend (before PS1 was launched).

The demo was of code at 35%. That demo may have been ready since the February reveal (we simply don't know). There are two main reasons why this may have been the case:
1) They were too busy making a launch game (New IP) to produce an updated demo for E3.
2) The game looks so amazing that if they had shown it in all its sublime glory, nobody would have seen there was more than just great graphics.
