Yes, in Monkey Island II remake you could switch between the two builds instantly. It was a really cool feature, I used it a lot.
I suppose Microsoft agree with me, thats why they're trying to patent it. HEY MS I DON'T THINK ANYBODY HAS A PATENT ON 'THE WHEEL' YET, typical Microsoft *innovation*.
This game looks really cool. Come on guys, reach for those wallets! Would love to see this on a vita!
@Death
They changed the way they designed the chip from previous incarnations to make it a dream platform to develop on. Its a different strategy, they *asked* developers what they wanted in a system, seems obvious I know, but nobody else does it.
IBM and Toshiba co-designed and co-produced the cell. That is a simple fact. Sony have ALWAYS worked with tech partners from design through to fabrication...CONSIDER YOURSELF ENLIGHTENED!!!
Would you be? ( I take it you read his tweets).
@Kalowest
By "over 3", do you mean.......4?
Or 3 and an exaggeration? Seriously I'm curious.
I heard one journalist say "if Ken were still in charge, the PS4 would probably be powered by a team of hamsters linked together by some crazy device".
Which reminds me of a question I've been asking for years. If the human brain is referred to the most powerful computer in known existence, when are they going to start powering computers with organic 'brain-like' processors that are 'grown' in a lab?
@Death
So why was Xbone's development sub-contracted if it were just a matter of money?
The PS3 had a Nvidia gpu, they co-develop hardware with big names in PC hardware every single time. That point you made is nonsensical!
*Edited for truth
Well, it's even easier to develop for than PS2 (some PS2 chips had their own proprietary language). If it isn't a match in sales, it could still be a match in quality and quantity of titles released. I think this generation will truly shine in that area.
Wow, it does look like syndicate! Loved that game on Amiga, this has some great potential.
Yeah, also if developers create a really cool pseye feature in a must-have game, the eye will sell in huge numbers anyway. Thats a big incentive for Sony to push the developer to make good use of the thing. If they don't, no-one buys it!
SONY SAID THEY WERE*LISTENING*, The community was up in arms about mandatory kinect, Sony heard that and responded. Whether the price would have been higher and by how much, we don't know. Maybe it was the difference between making a profit per console or breaking even. Sony said all along they were targeting $399 !
Streuth cobber, what a bunch of drongo's. Makes you wanna stoke up the Barbie and chuck on some dingo brained politicians. Get some Sheila's round and crack open a tinny, you'll feel ripper in no time.
MP's, what a bunch of dags.
(sorry to all my Australian cousins, just joshing with ya).
@showtimefolks
Really? I didn't know that many Americans were even aware that the game of cricket existed. I know that there is a fairly large community of immigrants from cricket loving nations, but outside of that is there any awareness of the game at all? I'm genuinely interested to find out because I love cricket, but whenever I speak to Americans about it they seem to think its a 'quaint little English sport'. Whilst it has been played here in England sin...
I played the demo, it was horrible.
Apparently it does.
Noise cancellation seldom works properly (unless you pay BIG money).
Film rendering takes lots of RAM, I use a total of 96gb in my workstation (32gb GDDR5 and 64 GB DDR4 + quadro & tesla cards). You can render a 4k feature length film in hours when a top notch gaming rig would take days or even weeks to do the job. No use for that much RAM in gaming though.
Sorry to be pedantic, but its " *addictive* as hell". Addicting is barely a word (it only appears in less than 50% of dictionaries) and can only be properly used in certain circumstances i.e. 'Sara is addicting john to chess', the game of chess itself is 'addictive'.
I want a new cannon fodder game;
WAR never been so much fun,
WAR never been so much fun,
Go to your brother, kill him with your gun,
Leave him laying in his uniform,
Dying in the sun
(Am I showing my age here?)
Yes, my bad, I farted.
