All the vehicles in the Mad Max films were cobbled together from salvaged parts, thats what made them cool. There is no reason that any vehicle couldn't be used, especially if there's an abandoned airfield. It's down to the scriptwriters'/directors discretion.

I agree, I bought a CoD a few years back, played it to death for six months, loved it (I think it was Modern Warfare II). After a while I moved on and haven't bought another CoD since.
I don't have a problem with it or those who choose to play it. I know some people are a bit obsessive about it, but the multiplayer game can be a lot of fun in the right modes (I always played Hardcore modes with one life per level).

There's more going on in a GTA game, more stuff happening off screen. In my opinion this is one of the most impressive looking PS3 games I have seen.
Some PC nerds were claiming that the more impressive scenes were from the PC version and that "you can clearly see the difference".

Sony has more unannounced games than Microsoft has. More big studios projects to announce also. Microsoft can't just throw more money at something to make it good. If the talent isn't there, more money means nothing.

I know what you're saying about frame rates. I am a filmmaker and have to edit in multiple formats (digital for tv, filmstock etc). Film runs at 24 fps, Video varies between 24 fps (mimicking film) to 30 fps. The reason they don't go higher is because at 24-30 fps the brain recognises fluid movement completely. Any higher and there is no perceptible difference ( many tests have been trialled).

Thats not what he's saying. He's saying that the modifications built into the hardware will give it a longer lifespan than standard pc parts. PC components are not built this way because they don't expect to have a 7 year + lifespan.
People believe that because it is based on pc architecture, it will be outdated in 2-3 years like a pc graphics card. Cerny is explaining the measures put in place to try and stop this happening.
