I very much doubt that.
MisterX site has responded by saying Panello's tweet 'CONFIRMS' the existence of a dGPU, saying that he denies the existence of a 'second' dGPU.
" PS3 was more powerful, but it didn't stop 70 million people buying a 360."
More like 30 million people buying 70 million 360's when you take into account multiple purchases due to RRoD.
He hasn't clarified anything, he made some claims that were questioned with regards to their accuracy, to which he effectively replied "wait there whilst I go and ask someone who knows what they're talking about". Please, follow links in future before calling something a "fact".
You criticize people for doing exactly what you yourself do!
He's trying to fool GAFfers with PR spin and rhetoric, that's going to come back and bite him in the arse. He's arguing about hardware with people who know more about the subject than he does.
Still, I'm sure his words will be quoted to death by Microsoft fans over the next few weeks.
@WPX
" 5 disagress but nothing said in reply.
That's how you know what you said had more truth than people can deal with."
No irony involved, I was replying to his inflated ego and explaining that just because nobody replied to his comment doesn't make him right (which he took to be the ONLY explanation of this fact). I simply offered a more reasonable explanation to show how it works (he is new here after all).
But then you would require both a WiiU (for the tablet) and the 3DS TV console. That makes the whole thing rather expensive or only possible for a minority of people. I don't think thats a good idea.
The vita graphics will be just about acceptable (maybe) on a large screen TV.
The 2DS (no 3D) graphics would look somewhat less than acceptable.
I'm not completely sold on vita TV, so it's a definite no from my perspective.
What I like most about Nintendo gamers is that they're such a light-hearted and jolly bunch of friendly folk who don't take things too seriously.
You can read through their posts without coming across the slightest hint of defensive behavior. It must be all those lovely games that keep them so full of good humour and sunshine smiles.
You never seem to see them acting aggressively towards others and they love and welcome criticism and friendly banter, to which...
I agree, in some images it looks huge, in others, not so big.
As for the Wii, it looked just like a hard drive.
But Microsoft fans have already been prised open and are ready to accept the "big one"!
But Respawn themselves said it was only budgetary constraints that prevented them from making a PS4 version, so they're not adverse to making it. There's a chance that Microsoft may try to keep it exclusive, but I think they would have said by now (ala DR3 etc).
You can't just buy companies unless they want/need to be sold. Many have offered to buy occulus, for crazy sums, but they're not for sale and won't budge on that stance.
Money offers possibilities, but it needs to be combined with circumstance and opportunity.
He was Scottish (and a nasty piece of work by all historical accounts). A bloodthirsty psychopath with no honour or dignity (still we chopped of his head, so all ended well).
St George, the patron saint of England, became so after slaying a mighty dragon, how dare you suggest they weren't real. ;-)
@Irishguy95
You don't seem to have much of a clue about anything.
I think the man is a genius, he takes themes that don't seem to have any place in the videogame market and turns them into some of the greatest gaming experiences imaginable. I love the subtlety of his work and the genuine emotion he draws out of you. There is no other developer like Quantic Dream, a real asset to the PlayStation family.
@bullymangLer
And Atari, Mattel (intellivision) and Commodore are Nintendo's daddy, what is your point (or do you even have one)?
@1975
No damage control needed, I really don't care what a self important tw@t thinks of me. If you read my comments, you'll see many are humorous (well intended to be at least), but then you wouldn't understand that now would you.
"DAMAGE CONTROL", what a moron!!
"kid", I'm 40 years old.
It must be he'll being such a highly-strung dullard, you have my pity and sympathies, I stand by my comments...
@Nocando
Had to give you a bubble + (for intelligent). It takes a lot to say what you said and I have to respect you for that. I genuinely hope you enjoy your Xbox One experience throughout the coming gen.
