Elite is a true gaming classic. A genuine pre-cursor to modern free-roaming games, action, trading, combat, adventure!
But the long promised Elite IV is overdue. Imagine playing Elite online. This has the potential to be a great alternative to World of Warcraft.
Be it on PC, Xbox Live, or PSN. This could be David Braben's last great gift to the gaming world. I cant wait!
Peter Moore comes across as a down to Earth nice guy.
But considering his visible presence at Microsoft; when he started talking about getting 60fps on Playstation 3 games it all seemed a bit weird. Like I had woken up in an episode of the Twilight Zone.
But it just goes to show that whilst the super-fans of the 3 consoles are believers in their favourite, these guys are ultimately doing their job.
still weird. What next? Miyamoto developing on the...

connecting to the usa store is easy.
All you need to do is create a new user account on your PS3, when you are asked to enter an address it must be a USA address. Most PS3 like entering the address for Microsoft -oh the irony of it!
To purchase from the USA store you must have a credit card that does not have a UK reg. This applies to most uk cards except those from Natwest.
Alternatively you can purchase a top-up credit card ...
Its not just in the UK and Europe, football is massive in the South American countries. Argentina, Mexico etc.
Thats why I love the Football World cup... Its one big world with so many different kinds of people- but they all come together to play in a sport that unites nations on a world stage.
Once every 4 years? - Absolutely worth the wait!
I dont understand what your saying! You said Sony let football get away but not soccer. Football is Soccer isnt it? Wot Not?!
Either way online FIFA/PES could really take off.
Ive had a number of friends and relatives play on my PS3. And everyone seems to enjoy this game (for a bit). The concept is easy to understand and it uses the SixAxis well.
I personally wished there could have been double the levels, but it's lo-cost, simple, cheap fun. Not every game has to be a AAA to be good.
bodes well for Loco Roco PS3 then?!
This video has actually got my attention. I love the dark fairy-tale theme which reminds me of bedtime stories. Graphics look very nice. As long as the gameplay is quite deep, then this really could be something special.
Im surprised and happy to hear that the Wii can handle 32 players online. This gives a really good indication of its abilities for future multiplayer games.
Mario Kart Wii could be another mega classic and I cant wait to race my mates and the world!
Halo 3, im sure, has nothing to worry about. Bungie have apparently put a lot of work in it and it will sell.
What was a terrible idea was the Halo movie short by Neil Blogkamf. Im sorry but it looked really really bad, low production values, cheap, uninspired. It reminded me of what you would you see in a bad pilot episode for a sci-fi series that gets cancelled.
NO. I tell you what it reminded me off, the FMV movies you used to get in PC games in the early 90s. Even W...
The info is first hand from Woolworths management.
FACT: You wont be able to find HD-DVD stock in any store.
FACT: Blu-ray displays are now being rolled out across the country across all medium and large stores.
Woolworths online is run separately from the retail stores.
I appreciate your comments though. ;)
What will be interesting is whether Microsoft can advertise their own products in EA Sports games for Nintendo and Sony consoles.
Also, a deal between Microsoft and EA Sports, does Peter Moore have any role in this...
cant think of how to use it yet but that is special stuff for the future.
M&S have a reputation for being a very 'British' company with top quality reputation. (It's food is really nice, but expensive!)
Their technology departments are new but expanding. They are not the sort of company to compete with the rest of the high street on price, they compete on reputation and service. Customers who buy technology there may pay a bit more wont mind because that 2 year guarantee backs up the M&S reputation.
Personally Id like the best...
It looks nicer, cleaner and a more professional layout. Good Luck!
Since the days of the vinyl record, the consumer culture is that people like to buy movies/music as a physical object to keep in their collection.
At present, HD movies are so big that to download them is only for rental, ie temporarilly stored on your PC/Xbox etc.
Also the technology isnt there yet. The internet is too slow. Maybe in the South Korea& the USA its fast but Europe is no where near there. Yes you can put a HD film on the 360, but can you store 1000 HD f...
all in one phone/portable computers is the future.
the apple iphone and the Nokia N95 represent this perfectly and the market will grow massively as they replace the standard phone.
-let this market mature a bit and maybe Sony might see the value in such a product.
On Saturday, BBC News was running the story regularly.
They compared game footage with pictures of the Cathedral - obviously they looked the same.
The discussions mentioned how the power of the Playstation 3 made a 'realistic and accurate' recreation of Manchester Cathedral!
The story inadvertently promoted the Playstation 3 graphics!
Some would like to say that the Playstation 3 is big failure but the signs are that its gonna do very well.
The PlayStation 3 has been a victim of a skillful and massive propaganda campaign. But sometimes its best to ignore the fake spin about its demise and look at the facts.
* The facts are these. The console is very expensive -despite this is selling tremendously in the UK & Europe. The public have had over 10 years to grow to trust the brand.
Ive been waiting for the maps, and the updates.
One delay-ok, two, three- not acceptable.
Im beginning to agree with those who say "you get what you pay for"
Motorstorm is great fun, but not everyone plays online all the time.
sometimes its great fun to play against real friends.
I dont mind if Motorstorm 2 takes a slight performance hit to allow multiplayer & LAN options. If it does this it could become a modern classic.
