"EA COO Peter Moore told investors in a May 2014 financial call that Titanfall had sold 925,000 retail copies in the United States during its launch month - a number that didn't include digital sales. EA confirmed to Eurogamer this week that Titanfall is the best-selling game on Xbox One lifetime to date, based on its own data, with a high attach rate."

Scalebound could turn out to be something special. I really love all the different monsters.
If the director doesn't know it doesn't really inspire confidence in the product.
I suspect he is unwilling to answer because the original pre-DRM removal plan was that every XBOne would be connected, but MS and their studios are reluctant to publicise that a game with a single player element requires the user to be 'always-online.'
At no point in the article does anyone from Microsoft say 'sorry.'
The so called apology comes from what the journalist believes Microsoft's more recent actions mean.
@DragonKnight. I have no doubt that come Christmas 2014/2015/2016 there will be new third party software such as FIFA Football, Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed etc for the 360. However as Microsoft said THEY would be supporting the 360 the meaning I get from that is that they would be making more games. Whether they end up doing this I don't know.
This year the big AAA exclusives on 360 are Gears of War Judgement, a third party game, and Fable Anniversary which like y...
Supported means first party exclusives. This year we're getting Fable Anniversary. I hope Microsoft release some 360 games next year, maybe Halo 2 Anniversary? but they haven't announced anything yet. :(

I've played a Motorstorm fame in 4 player split screen and that was lots of fun. But I can't think of why you would want to play an 8 person game as each person's 8th of the screen would be really small. But it is important to have split screen for local games when friends visit so I would like to see more games with this feature.
But who can afford 8 controllers?! Who can afford 4?!
I did play a lot of the original Viva Piñata and really enjoyed it! It was effectively a strategy/God sim but with cute characters. I also played a little bit of Kinect Sports 1 at friends which was kinda fun but I haven't bought a Kinect camera of my own so I can't say about the other games out there.
I know some of the Microsoft Rare games were alright, but because of the nature of the titles they published such as Grabbed by the Ghoulies and Kameo, I suspect t...
Rare created GoldenEye 64 and Perfect Dark. Every time they were making super classics. Just last week EDGE upgraded their Goldeneye score to a perfect 10. Then when Microsoft bought them how did they use that pool of talent? They got them making Kameo and f****ng avatar clothes. All the great staff left to go elsewhere.
But buying a developer can be done right and can be done wrong. Sony bought Naughty Dog but allow them to run as an independent team and this has led to Unc...
This Sony guy is talking BS. Nintendo Gamecube titles will always look better than PlayStation 4 games.
;)
Respect to the interviewer for pushing Phil for a proper answer.
Too many 'journalist' from some of the big sites have written articles that sound like fluff pieces written by the PR team of a manufacturer. The bad journos have explained bad policies (since reversed) as being good.
I read one article on IGN where the shitty journo broke the news that FORZA 5 complete game would not be on the disc but would require a day 1 download to make the game w...
I heard that every journalist who attended Microsoft's Gamecom Showcase were promised a free Xbox One with launch games and 1 year of Xbox Live. This is why the event was not broadcast live, so it could be edited out from the video for consumers. Can anyone there confirm or deny this please?
The article is comparing the graphics from a tricked out super pc with the PS4, which is silly. Comparing the PS4 to Xbone is understandable - although that wasn't done here.
Just Silly. Not funny.
Great pics! Capture the preview well.
A great interview. I really enjoyed hearing the thoughts of someone from another country as it provides a different perspective.
One issue mentioned is how a $60 game is unaffordable to local citizens and that if games were priced at $15 it would reduce piracy. However because games on PS3 and next-gen are region free Sony & Microsoft are unlikely to drop their prices significantly because they'd fear the games being imported to the West so no change is likely. But ...

-I remember when a Sonic game meant happily racing through green hills jumping through gold rings without a worry in the world. :(
Does anyone know if there is a recorded stream of this?
