New Vegas had the strongest story out of the newer Fallout games (in my opinion) but I don't blame Obsidian for the problems it had. They had to use the Fallout 3 engine and had to make the game in under a year (if I recall correctly) so I believe it could have been an amazing game if they had been given more time to develop it and bug-test.

That's my problem with the game too (apart from the bugs). There need to be NPCs and sidequests that involve them. The world at the moment feels too empty and lifeless.

Children nowadays don't need to be "saved". I love it when people complain about the younger generations being ruined, because they are no different to the countless older people before them who have complained about youth destroying their culture. And yet...the human race still continues to thrive. This new generation isn't any worse than the countless generations before it.

Just take a look at these quoted from hundreds of years ago:

Haha yeah I think they are trying traveling to each game expo to meet fans, so they've been doing a lot of interviews.

How would you possibly know it 'sucks' if you only got an hour in? That's barely enough time to even meet the main characters.

Listening to him describe how he came up with these melodies and sounds is incredible. He treats the cello like an extension of himself. A true musical genius.

Yeah I'm curious to know exactly what we're supposed to do in the game for hours upon hours upon hours. Fallout's empty wasteland works because there are so many hidden treasures to uncover, bizarre NPCs to meet, and interesting side quests to undertake. Without those little side stories, you're left with......an empty wasteland.

The nuclear blast is such a "wait...that's it??" moment. I remember setting off the megaton in Fallout 3 and feeling the absolute devastation you'd wreaked on the area. But in this game it's just a bunch of orange muck and fuzzy graphics. It looks like garbage, and doesn't make you FEEL anything for setting it off.

I agree. People who cosplay do it because they love a certain game or character. It's awesome seeing that sort of dedication to games when there are usually so many negative news pieces about gaming in general. So it sucks that there are people in the gaming community who will criticize a cosplayer for being inaccurate because they just so happen to be born a different race than the character they might love. This girl has a spot-on Lara Croft cosplay and being black doesn't make it a...

I agree. It was definitely a great experience at the time, but even when it came out it had noticeable problems.

It's always mentioned whenever another FF game is re-released. But it seems to be a bigger deal now because this is the first time a series of FF games have been re-released for a new console, while obviously skipping one of the titles.

You can't get it on PS4's PSN, can you?

From all his interviews, he seems like the most nice and wholesome dude.

It must suck being so negative that you feel the need to shit on games and those who enjoy them just because they aren't to your taste.

I'm still waiting for photo mode and the ability to skip cutscenes

Don't forget Detroit Become Human. It's my favourite out of all the Quantic Dream games:

Especially because Beyond Two Souls is a niche game. Comparing it to Call of Duty's sales (like the guy upthread did) is pointless.

Id still recxommend giving Detroit a go. It's been eight years since Heavy Rain came out and the game hasn't aged well since then. Detroit is much more polished and modern.
