I agree! I think a lot of people brush off Kuja because of his girly design or they just flat out forget him, but IMO he was one of the most interesting, well written, and sympathetic villains in the whole series. Its a shame he doesnt get more love from fans.
I agree about Tidus. I didnt mind him as much when I first played the game as a teen, but I recently replayed the PS4 remaster and was surprised by how annoying I found him this time around.

Considering the amount of murder, violence, torture, war, and crime that's on mainstream TV nowadays, I doubt kids are going to have much of a problem with something as bland as gay relationships.
I'd rather my kids watch a gay character in a relationship than to accidentally catch a violence scene on the primetime news which causes them to be scared of things they are far too young to even be thinking about (like terrorists attacks or being gunned down in school).
"Corrupt your children"? Seriously? Kids don't give a shit about gay, straight bi, or whatever. They just wanna play in the playground.
A random character being gay in a game isn't going to corrupt future generations any more than letting women vote, giving worker's rights, and allowing interracial marriage did. The entire human race is not going to collapse just because a few gay people exist in video games.

Dude, you can kill people, assault them, steal from them, and do all sorts of horrible shit in Dragon Age games. Most game heroes aren't exactly shining examples of good or moral lifestyles.
A character being gay is pretty mild by comparison.
I can't speak for EB Games because I've never worked there, but I've worked in jobs where its expected of you to work overtime for free or to 'volunteer' your hours or else you mysteriously stop showing up on the roster. And if you're a casual worker, you have less rights than a part-time or full-time worker. The boss can drop you like a hot potato without explanation and there's not a whole lot you can do about it since it's 'only' casual work.

I agree. While I don't like how pessimistic the media has been about Shenmue 3, I think it's naive to believe the negative media is the reason the kickstarter didn't skyrocket to 10 million dollars.
I adore Shenmue but I can also admit that the series is niche and didn't sell very well ten years ago, so that probably has more impact on why the Shenmue 3 kickstarter didn't do as well as fans thought it would.
I also hope Kojima can open a kickstarter for Noise-less Mountains. :D
The Ultimecia is Rinoa theory is just a fan theory though. Square has debunked it as false, and most of the pro-theory ideas have been disproven (most notably the Griever GF argument).

Aeris was the only person who could summon Holy, but she knew that doing so would risk her life because Sephiroth would try to stop her. But because she was half-Ancient, her death allowed her to summon the Lifestream at the end of the game to hold off the incoming Meteor while Holy destroyed it. Tifa wouldn't be able to do those things if she died. A large portion of the game's story would have to be changed ...
