He really is awful. I don't watch his show but I caught an episode a few months ago where this teen girl had some obvious mental issues and anger issues, and her mom asked Dr Phil for help to "fix" her daughter.
So Dr Phil's solution was to get his cameramen to charge into the girl's house WHILE SHE WAS SLEEPING, force her to get dressed while they waited, then dragged her onto the show as she cried and begged them to explain wtf was going on. And apparent...
It sounds like he might be depressed. If his life has turned to shit, he might be using games as a way to escape from his depression and to also feel happiness where he might not have much.
I don't agree with a new introduction. FF7's beginning is one of the most iconic parts.
A list about the best hair in games and not a single Final Fantasy character?
"And while I don't hate the batmobile, my god is the thing overused. One minute I'm playing a stealth action title, the other "Split Second", and like Superman destroying buildings in Man of Steel, I am causing millions of dollars of damage within seconds driving that thing through the street"
I felt really weird about how much damage Batman causes with the batmobile. It didn't make me feel like a superhero at all. I felt like a villain for des...
I think E3 is more relevant now that social media and live streaming is common. It is amazing to be able to hear the news as its being announced, instead of hearing about it a month later in a gaming magazine.
Lol is he wearing a sparkly suit? He looks like a Japanese Pagan Min.
It's the weird mix of realistic fur on an unrealistic fox's face that looks...off to me.
People who think Squall is dead or that Ultimecia is Rinoa are just conspiracy theorists who are trying to see things that aren't even there. There are theories that Ash died at the start of Pokemon. ANYBODY can come up with a theory about anything. It doesn't make it right.
Everything gets explained in FFVIII. There are no lose ends. Are the explanations always good ones? No. But there aren't massive plot holes and the story makes sense. People are just stupid w...
I hope not. Not only is Aeris' death an iconic moment in the series, but it is integral to the plot.
WTF. Put a Spoiler warning!
She didn't need any help writing a good story. Amy Hennig was writing amazing games since her Legacy of Kain days.
And aren't their houses really small and narrow due to Japan's lack of space? I imagine it's not very practical to have a big HD TV with some consoles hooked up to it in a living room that's only big enough to hold a small coffee table.
Scenes I'm looking forward to:
- Midgar pillar collapsing
- Cloud crossdressing
- The Nibelheim fire
- The entire City of the Ancients/Unknown Capital section
- Safer Sephiroth
- The Sunken Gelnika monsters
- The fucked up Hojo battle
- Tifa slap fight with Scarlet
- Sister Ray!
I've probably forgotten tonnes of great moments. But these are the first ones that popped to mind.
Even a Mario Kart announcement would have been better than what we got. Seriously who is pining for a new Mario Tennis game......or even Paper Mario and Luigi! It's such a shame they focused their Nintendo Direct conference on games that didn't warrant that sort of attention.
Nice to see a positive Nintendo article for a change :)
Looks great. It would be cool if we got a Halloween release date.
I don't think he'll be in the remake tbh. Isn't he supposed to be asleep during the events of FF7? He doesn't wake up until the end of Dirge of Cerberus
I think phantomexe means the ATB system.
It's naive to think the Kickstarter is being hindered solely by media. Shenmue is a niche series and it was unlikely the title would skyrocket to 10 million regardless of negative media input or not. The fans seem to be funding it solely on name recognition alone.
The article isn't wrong either. I've pledged some money but I'll happily admit that I would have pledged more if the handling of the Kickstarter hadn't been such a mess. Particularly the error...
